colintkemp
I have to admit that when I saw that Shred had a post, I thought "oh boy, here come some wacked out Coilers..." But I scrolled down and hit crac676's post and my eyes popped out. Those are spectacular boards. Bruce does it again, and again, and then again. Wow. Steve Prokopiw
to make a one color board look so good. Awesome.
pokkis
Beside good look of that brushed PTC top sheet it also work very well in many ways
crack676
crack676, you can test my 4x4 Donek plate on Zinal. It might be too wide for you board but i'll keep you updated about that after installingand testing it on mine with same width. Anyway we can test it either with one of your friends board or one of mine As well as some other my new Coiler stuff ;) Thanks pokkis! That would be interesting. But this year, I think I'm only up in Zinal during the ECS (due the new job). Anyway, we'll find time to test the new gear.
pokkis
Beware for that job thing, that can limit your carving time Anyway we can arrange suitable test for you, and i know that you can test and feel things very fast and fly very high
crack676
Problem is that I start only 2 weeks before with the new job, so can't already take long holidays in Jan/Feb. But during the 3 days a short test should be possible. Can't wait to ride with the new board...
pokkis
We can make it, i have 4x4 and UPM versions so we can certainly arrange something for you And knowing you you can ride plate fluently after few runs :)
Michael Pukas
Beside good look of that brushed PTC top sheet it also work very well in many ways What exactly is that top sheet, and how does affect board performance? Great rides!!!
pokkis
It is same material as base. Snow does not stick so easily, you can even wax it with rapid wax easily. Plus if you get sctratch or marks there you can fix them same way as base. And then just grind it. Me like

kieran
Clever!i was trying to think of some nose profile that would let you switch between camber and rocker, by mounting the bindings on the other side. ;)
pokkis
It is not available in camber/ nose decamber design but
Willow 15
At the beggining of every season I watch this forum avidly to see the new boards being produced. Every board I see gets the juices flowing but every Coiler I see makes me drool like Homer Simpson in a free bar with complimentary doughnuts. Crack676 I envy you. I think the next time I type anything will be an email to Ontario.

According to Hans, it adds quite a bit of dampening over his titinal topsheet boards.
pokkis
Yes that is another known aspect, but due boards Bruce has built for me are all so different i can reliable comment tat so i left it out. Specially due some boards had thinner P-tex layer than some others, but one thing is common, i love them due various reasons. On next batch i will get new wide Coiler with normal top layer material
Ardrock
179 Metal FC 12-14-13 scr, 23.5cm Should I give it the virgin run with or without the plate?
Ardrock
today was a mix of powder up high and crusty snow down low so I stayed on my freestyle board. Hoping for groomed snow this week.

Ardrock
Sean built it with what he calls a 'hook' geometry to give it a little bit of the glass feel at the end of the turn.
Donek
Sean built it with what he calls a 'hook' geometry to give it a little bit of the glass feel at the end of the turn. The last 20% of the sidecut ramps to a tighter radius. This can give you a bit of a glass feel to the end of the turn. In race applications it enables a degree correction if the racer gets late. Ardrock
I haven't had a chance to ride it yet but I'll be sure to give my report when I do. As far as build quality and aesthetics, I'm definitely a happy customer. Thanks Sean!
Mxjas38
I will hopefully be able to post picks of my new Donek soon. Chewing my fingernails off waiting for that email saying it shipped!
