crucible
That would probably be me ;) Vancouver is the hub of board-a-holics: Dave's got about 40, too and Scooby is not far behind, either. Actually, he's got the most hi-tech ones, including Kesslers, SGs, Tinklers, not even to mention the metal Priors and Coilers... Maybe he'll post them after this :D Ok, gotta go now, the Mediterraenean beach is calling ;) Boris is NOT kidding- there are at least 4-5 Vancouver carvers with collections of over 40 boards each. It's rumored that some of these collections are so big that I occasionally remind these guys to let the local fire department know about the whereabouts if these boards - after all, in the event of a fire, that many boards in one place could classify itself as a hazmat situation.... kieran
185cm, 14-24vscr, Bamboo core, titanal rocketship.so, smooth ride / turn initiation, acceleration throughout the turn and whip-launch acceleration out of the turn?bamboo core sounds interesting. is the vscr biased fore/aft, or is it notionally 19m at the waist? www.oldsnowboards.com
Cool, how deep in the channel in the slalom board? Do they describe what it is about? Thanks for the photos, I have not seen many of the Apex boards.
guido591
The channel isn't particularly deep. They refer to this as "Absorbing Nose Technology" and suggest that it assists with absorption of shock. Can't speak for its efficacy yet. kieran
skwal td3 bases are what you need there. and maybe an equally large stick to beat the people who'll be pestering you for a turn or two on it. ;)
Tscherno-Bill
... and maybe an equally large stick to beat the people who'll be pestering you for a turn or two on it. ;) but why a skwal-binding on a snowboard...
kieran
but why a skwal-binding on a snowboard...because those bases are intended for boards with a less-than 16cm waist. like yours. ;)
colintkemp
Never thought I would see someone with a board that might have "elastomer drag." OS2s worked on my Cyborg too.
pokkis
That is reason why my Coiler NSR is 16.5 cm wide

Algunderfoot
That was actually Babylon 8 which usually does better. What I meant to say was "That things insane, do you get your own lift life with that?" Know the respect gear gets in line, in Europe... kieran
you're not thinking outside the box. with enough momentum, you can guarantee the lift line will (be) clear just by skidding into place! ;)
