Hans
I've got two brand new pairs of plastic heelreceivers for sale for a bargain!
eaglez
ive already pre-ordered five of them to go with my custom made decapitators. It's the only binding that wont crumble due to the force of fin's all titanal board. How do we pre-order. I don't see anything on the site that speaks to that. D. NMU Alpine Boarder
I call shenanigans! There is no such thing as a TD3... All they are doing is putting a shiny new sticker on some old, dusty TD2's... Move along folks... Nothing to see here... Ok, now that everyone has left, am I first in line
Kimo
What's the second pin for? My heels don't have a second pin.
Pow
What's the second pin for? My heels don't have a second pin. Cupholder attachment (sold separately)
BlueB
If this 2nd pin was what I think it is, that's awsome!
queequeg
Cupholder attachment (sold separately) My guess and hope is that when it pushes in some kind of ice/snow removal mechanism will cause pins to push out of the boot base, ridding you of caked on snow. One can pray. One can pray. Deliver me from caked on snow!!!!
martyagt4
Those second pins look like dowels. There is no bushing I can see that they slide on. Perhaps they just register on the front of the receiver? EDIT: Nah... must be the release. In case the cable breaks? Or maybe no cable at all? AaronG
One thing I don't see with these new heels are a non skid, replaceable surface that bonds to the aluminum heel. I know that if I shell out the bucks for these nice aluminumi"fintec" heels I don't want to wear them down walking through a parking lot. In the pic there appears to be a recess in the bottom of the heel to accomodate a replaceable heel pad. Maybe I can graft my old elastomer purple pads from my TD1s
JK moscraciun
They're instead of the plastic tabs on Intec heels.Anyone care to guess what these will be called? :D Finpin? :) Great idea to improve (durability vise for sure) the Intec standard! My guess is that will be some engineered flex (a la f2) in the TD3 (since stiffness was the only real complain ever)
Jack M
My guess is that will be some engineered flex (a la f2) in the TD3 (since stiffness was the only real complain ever) uhh... there is a pantload of engineered flex in the TD2...
