  1. 195 swallowtail splitboard factory made from voile. IT is in used condition. Lots of lift line type scuffs etc in the top sheet. full set of long skins and all the hardware. I think I even have an extra set of binding plates for it. I use it every spring after the hill closes. Great board I love it. The reason I am selling is that it is intended for midwinter back country fluff. spring time wet concrete conditions turn it into a class A motorhome on the the ride down. I am going to replace it with climbing shoes or a shorter board for spring conditions. Pics available on request. It can be viewed in action here! <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-6dzk8cNJmE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> asking $500 plus shipping

    Catek FR2 Pro Carbon

interested as well. broke mine at WTF:barf: missing some good carving without them.
  3. Great boards love all of mine I have 2 in the 168 and 2 in the 178. best all around board in my quiver for sure. Dennis is a tool and charges at least 3 times the going rate for these. do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere!
  4. Both at fault in one way or another. Bottomline tho..... Straightlining on a popsicle stick on anything but a closed course is negligent. Its hard enough to control a good alpine board with sharp edges at those speeds, A park board with half the edges ground smooth has no chance of stopping or avoiding accident when the unforeseen happens. That said, I always run interference for my kids by staying up hill and watching their six like an eagle. IF you straightline into my area you are gonna end up in a heap after launching off my shoulder pads NFL open field style. act negligently around me and endanger my children and I will treat you like a common mugger.
  5. still waiting on angry pics:eplus2: come on show us the damage already!! I think I have heard every possible variation of the story.
  6. There were scattered reports of unconfirmed sunshine in the valley today! now we know the truth.........
  7. Glad someone mentioned the little debbies! I havent been to an alpine event that did not include some form of little debbie:lol:
  8. my orthotics hurt to ride with. The arches are very supportive and in a shoe thats great. In my boots on a board with all the dynamic up and down pressure, They tend to make my arches sore. A low flexible molded arch support is best for board sports.
  9. thats what tinypic did to them. not sure what went wrong:lurk:
  10. molded footbeds yes:biggthump orthotics maybe not so much. footbeds support your foot where it is now. orthotics are often corrective and their purpose is to push your foot into an improved position that may make boarding uncomfortable
  11. I will post pics as soon as I get them resized. The plate on my forward binding failed at the left rear set screw hole. It broke all the way thru. The bolt holding the heel bail to the plate also failed. I did not feel it break but noticed it when I got to the lift line. It felt spongy and loose. I was one bolt away from being attached to the board by the toe strap only:eek: No injuries No worries other than being able to get a replacement this season. Anyone know how well catek is doing as far as shipping and communication these days?
  12. been offline or I would have chimed in sooner. I will be over for a day or two. I would love to get in on the cat ski if anyone decides to bail put me on the waiting list.
  13. I am a wide run junkie too. some of the most fun is on the greens and blues with rollers and a wide variance in terrain. I love to ride those rollers like waves. sometimes you just gotta surf the planet:biggthump
  14. you can use wedges outside the liner if its to big but the foot beds go into a liner prior to heat molding.
