  1. Good gawd....look at that heelside.....
  2. Hey Gang.....first the good news. Our mountain up here just got about 30" - Sun Valley that is for those who don't know me. Went from WROD to game on real quick. Hope you are getting some. My nephew is doing a student teaching with Deer Valley this winter to finish his teaching requirement to be a sports trainer. He is a snowboarder at heart thanks to me, but Deer Valley. Still better than going to Atlanta for the winter which was his other intern offer. He arrives in the SLC area tomorrow and has not been able to find housing. He is in a motel for several days right now, but is looking for a place....to rent....to share....Open to work trade.... He is the sweetest guy 23 or 24 now, worked as a church camp counselor in the summers until this summer when he worked on the Middle Fork of the Salmon doing some rafting. He is getting into climbing a bit. does a lot of refereeing for various sports. Does not smoke or drink. Very polite, level headed, down to earth guy....my sister raised him right. So if you know of anything please reach out. He is not desperate yet, but staying in a motel for the winter is not sustainable on interns wages. Thanks in advance.
  3. It shows Big Sky only five to six hours from here. That will be worth it sometime. Looks great. I guess it's a good rub in if it makes me want to be there. Strong work....
  4. Yes it is. Where is all the peoples at? That looks awesome.
  5. What really separates the men from the other men, is the ability to enjoy a simple, clean carve without comparing yourself to someone else.
  6. Wait I am late to this conversation....there is a centerline on boots?
  7. As often and hard as I can. I think I broke it down a bit, the tail is feeling a little soft.....
  8. That white Coiler looks familiar....

    all sold

Interested in the 182. Do you have the specs on the side unless that is the one that says Asym? Want to verify if it is asym that you are regular which it looks like....and also what weight range you are and or the board is. Thanks.
  10. Thank God it's built for someone much lighter than me or I would have to buy it. Great looking board.

Any idea what shipping would be on that classic? A guess is fine. i may have someone who could pick it up and hold until travel opens up... To Idaho 83340 is you need a zip code. I like long boards and I cannot lie.....

    I'm Out!

    Love to see some pics.
  14. I am 65 front and 67 back on an 18cm waist with size 29 boots.....
  15. I have never gotten bored seeking perfect, zero skid carving...at least for me that just hasn't happened. No interest in getting better??? So puzzling. Even when in soft boots I am seeking movement patterns that will apply when carving in stiffer gear. I don't know how seeking one thing can come by excluding other elements of that perfect turn. To me it is no 'parlor' trick but a conceptual, textural and physical manifestation of a 3D interactive sculpture playing out at 25 to 35 mph... Wasted time if it wasn't carve ( to your definition) conducive? Dude...probably shouldn't go.
  16. thanks for selling it. I don't need another board right now....
  17. And I love that board. 250 now and it is a joy to rip Baldy on. I has a really fun day in Jackson on that board too. I went all mountain on it one day and it did surprisingly well off piste too. Around the same time I discovered the carving run called Grand. We got along really well on that one too.
  18. I think I have a pair or two I will be posting up later.
  19. I know everyone seems to love these boards. I tried one. Most expensive board I had purchased at the time. Approximate same vintage as this. It lasted three hours. I hit a piece or smooth wood and lost four inches of edge. The core did not extend to the edge. They wouldn't warranty it. So before you go doing backflips to try to get some NOS out of New Zealand you have been warned. It rode great for three hours. I went back up and hiked out to the only possible place it could have happened to see exactly what I hit....a smooth rounded branch with no branches. Four inches of edge separation. I have hit 100 things harder than this with my Cobra Never Summer or Burton Frontiers with barely any visible damage. You have been warned.
  20. I thought burning was lactic acid build up from muscles held in contraction for too long. Have you tried getting tall sometimes and stretching everything out?
  21. Any idea what the sidewall specs are on the board? Bruce's shorthand for build I guess.
