I rode two versions of the Donek "secret" One board had similar nose/edge shape. One was hook version and the other without. Interesting how freed up and nimble the no hook version was. Personal preference likes the hook

Just pulling off the hill. Good fun. Got to ride with Katie, Stepson Logan and a friend from work that is learning the ways of the carve. Good stuff. Golden hour was 9:45-11:00 then slarving in the slush. Saber is always good. Thanks Sean.

Cortisone fixed mine... blown front rotator cuff and impingement. Years of pain and lost sleep. Two shots 10+ years ago.

My 2¢. Dynamic vs Fluid I love dynamic riding styles. Moving with the terrain and charging a bit is my favorite. Fluid styles seem more patient and rehearsed. If you can do both and keep it smooth... then you have style. And fortunately, ours are all a bit different??

my good friend and I...actually, the brother I never wanted used to intentionally ride over the other guys tip or tail leaving as deep a gouge as possible. Usually started with "hey, is that a new board" followed by scraaaaaaape. What are friends for?! i don't protect my boards in that manner but I do seal topsheet nicks and almost always run a file around the topsheet edges after a day of riding to stop those nicks from spreading. I'm all for the laminations. Anyone try it on carbonium or ptex tops?

I'm at 1:05-2:30. Ruroc. 1st run of the day on a mountain I've never been to. At Copper. I'm a sea level dweller. So altitude and not really knowing where I was going was making things interesting. It's not a competition but I do feel that I'm a competent rider. Why don't you be the judge

We carved the crap out of Crystal back in the early 90's. Hot lapping down to Little Portillo, airing it out in the way in and out. Then down Lucky Shot into the last cat track for a showboat toeside/heelside around the tower and under the lift into the base of REX. From Burtons of all flavors to cut off tailed libs and Three strap bindings. Those were the days. Went back a couple years ago on a long preplanned, late Feb trip to find the worst snow year since leaving in 96' Night Janitorial all winter, Bartender at the pool all summer and trail crew and lift maintenance in between.

Clear is a must for low light. I have used smoke/blue/amber(sold out) just picked up sone yellow and clear for white out days. I like to see.

Kemper aggressor 170? I remember it saying "kevlar" but I thought I had to drill through a metal layer when drilling bindings...

Been working downtown recently and the weather is awesome. May do some local LDP heading south out of downtown and back Friday after work. I have not touched my skate since moving here and I'm excited to get back on the road!

Have not put in sun screen on the hill in 5 years. 250 shipped is a bargain. These helmets have come a long way!
