    A-Basin

I'll be up tomorrow. First day of the season. Hope all the roller skating I've been doing pays off
  2. Good Stuff. Entertaining theme but turned off the music before it was over... solid riding!
  3. I have been using the Kinco gloves all last season. I try not to pat the dog but but it happens... I like a good cheap glove but I also have a great pair of arteryx that a fantastic in very cold conditions. My gloves usually hold up well but I tend to use my palm/wrist when I do drag my hand. Chews up the wrist cuff pretty badly. I also have a serious case of "trigger finger" that makes getting in and out of my soft boot bindings, increasingly difficult and painful. Digits off the snow is a good thing. Summer surgery to fix it is inevitable. Final thought... Leather is the best
  4. &Looks like no real interest other than Monodude. I've been working in Seattle all week. But I'll be home late tonight. Monodude, you are welcome to come by! Hit me via pm if you are interested. The tuning bench is always ready to go. It's a permanent fixture down in the finished basement. Bring your Boards/mono or otherwise
  5. Weekend warriors here but would be stoked to ride with you!
  6. Don't call it a comeback. US riders are locked into either the stink bug carve or just plain power skidding... for everyone, with the exception of Ryan K, duck stance killed the carve
  7. That flux is gorgeous. Looking forward to getting one.
  8. Looks like we have a place and some roomies! Stoked. Thanks all.
  9. Svr. I rode the binding you have pictured all last season. I know a few people at flow that have me testing them out. Absolutely fantastic. you will not be disappointed in these as they are so comfy
  10. Chasing Sean and Jennifer Martin and my Girl Katie around the roller rink. Great for thighs and core...
  11. Board three from left is a 167 Donek freecarve demo. 10-12 vsr with a 23.5 cm waist. In great condition. Open to interesteing trades and offers. It's a slush buster that excels in spring crud/chop
  12. Back in So Cal, we would host a tuning party late October/early November to get everyone hyped for the season and to share the age old knowledge of preparing boards and/or skis. This is a tradition we would like to keep going now that we are here in Arvada, CO permanently. Anyone interested? I have a dedicated room and plenty of space/irons/wax/files etc...if anyone is interested, it looks like Saturday, Oct 29 would be the best day. We will have some food and beers and wine but feel free to bring a snack or a beverage. Juhwan and I already got the party rolling this past Saturday and thought it would be a nice way to get together and meet up.
  13. I had an axer 176. Swoard copy. Should be an easy starter but the build and finish quality are not there sadly. Should be great as a first year alpine set up but I would recommend getting on something better built after the first year.
  14. Sorry, none to part with but rode this years binding all last season. So nice. Best binding out there. Coupled with Bomber power plates... wow.
  15. Hard to blow it on perfect cord. Shame on you Forrest
  16. Thanks Jim. No, that was turn one after breaking the rib. The little knoll behind me (lookers right) is the one that took me out. Heavy backpacks are something I never ride with. By far the best week of snowboarding I've ever had. Can't wait to be back this year!
  17. Turn four, I broke a rib...over confident toe side with 0% edge engagement followed by 100% chest engagement. DOH!
  18. Katie and I will only be able to attend Weds-Saturday. We are looking to share lodging expenses by going in on a VRBO. Anyone else interested in sharing? Especially the Denver contingency? Planning to bring along our Aussies and a teenager (couch surfer) that will probably ride only a couple days. Please pm me direct. No flakes. Carbondale/Basalt looks cheap and I have an awd minivan aka "shuttle bus"
  19. I agree. That board should be an all mountain slayer
  20. Pm sent ill take them. Felice lance at gmail dot com
  21. Snorting Elk. Crystal Mountain, WA. if you know, you know! If not, too bad schnitzel, elk frost, shotski, cookie, sleep, powder, repeat.
