Email Jason Levinthal at J Skis in Burlington and see what his take is. If you're unfamiliar with J, he started LINE skis, sold Line to K2 and Full Tilt boots. Then acquired 4FRNT. J's has a Park ski that is consistently recognized- his warranty has the same disclaimer - Any problem resulting from impact, abuse, or neglect. This includes but is not limited to rail and rock damage, crossing of skis, standing skis on their tips on concrete, sliding, grinding or banging skis against objects that are NOT made of snow for example steel, wood, concrete, pavement etc. but perhaps produces a burlier product. ON3P doesn't strike me as the first manufacturer I'd reach for in that discipline. Great all-mountain and powder following but park..seems pricey as an option. Top 5 for 2020 has J's Allplay at #5 with Armada having 3 models in top 5. I think the J's are in $550 range?

Mornings are definitely better early season. It can get scraped fast. Cant compare Attitash to Wildcat. Very different experience and much more challenging terrain. Shorter radius rides are probably better choices there. Glad you're squeezing in time between work.

How much for just the Gecko's on that Oxess?

There are runs I enjoy carving there...more of a free riding mountain. Much better elevation, steeps, trees, etc. It can be raining at Attitash and pounding snow at Wildcat.

lonbordin- Will probably have a couple days at Wildcat during that time-not a fan of attitash..you should come to the cat-your ticket is good there as well..

I'd suggest trying a Winterstick -and if you're going to the Montucky session, I believe some rides will be available. Some great options like Volare, Roundtail, Westcott, ST and they introduced a baby swallowtail that looks fun.

I have ridden the gecko cross andstealth’s with different combos of bushings and symmetrical and asymmetrical set ups. I found that I gained more eff edge to carve with and while the cross is heavier than the stealth, I preferred the cross. I test rode them on multiple wintersticks couple seasons ago and different lengths for Wescott, roundtail, severe terrain, Burt, etc. I built a custom 64 Wescott that’s mated with cross set asym. I really like the feel. I got a sweet deal on the geckos on BOL used.
