  1. It's been a summer of many, many new things...but live music has been back in the priority list..been to lots of local music, saw Rebelution with Steel Pulse, Levitate Music Festival, Stick Figure, Dirty Heads, Phil Lesh, Jack Johnson, Donovan Frankenreiter, G-Love.. was amazing with great performers for 3 days followed by 4 beautiful days on Martha's Vineyard, Chris Stapleton and Elle King..have My Chemical Romance and Greta Van Fleet coming up in September and October...rehabbing the leg still and looking forward to a better winter..strength is coming back..
  2. If you're interested in parting with your Gecko's, please message me..thank you
  3. 300 gallons? 400 gallons? No big deal..those things run on "Thanks!", right?
  4. Well done, Geoff. To those questioning the weather in the ravine and MWV, it is a gnarly place and those conditions that you took on..well, good for you, sir. Until you're in that specific alpine environment, you don't know. Having been up and having to downclimb before, the pucker factor is 11...not always the beautiful spring sunny-corn days to be enjoyed. Been on that summit in 80+ winds in August and thought my nipples were going to chip off..
  5. Why don't more people go to Cannon? Ahh..who cares...it's boat season..GFY
  6. Jeremiah did a great job on my boards..highly recommend and more than fair pricing.
  7. Beautiful! Nice job, Rob...working on my plan now...can't wait to get back next season.
  8. The young patroller at the river that took care of me in January was solid, professional, thoughtful and attentive. He ripped on skis with me in the sled as well. In 46 years of on snow fun and excitement, that was my first sled ride..that I remember..but they are definitely not compensated enough for the labor they face.
  9. Is this still available? Anyone snagged yet? What was the weight range for build? Powdah
  10. Barry, if you're looking for twitch, fast, short, etc. Madd 158 will be available shortly.
  11. Flylow and Trew are burly and lots of vents so my go to pants
  12. Dropping a couple boards this weekend to jeremiah while in Jax...turns out he's an ex-hardbooter as well..will report back
  13. Good to see you, fellas. Keep on keepin on. Be seeing you around
  14. Got the good news yesterday that will not need hardware and surgery on the fib and tib. Doc says that if he didn't know about the fractures, initial looks at images don't reflect damage. Can move away from crutches, start weight bearing and 2-3 weeks, get rid of the aircast and move towards normal shoe. Celebrated by getting a K168. LFG!!!!!
  15. What's the resy name at Babes Blue Ballz? I'll be there Saturday, leg up and shooting the breeze with the kougars..turned the crutches into flasks..one side jager, one side rumple minze..screaming nazi's FTW
  16. Buy with confidence from Matt...vouched for...you quitter
  17. Mellow scoring big..nice. The WS looks nice, Rob Lu! great work!
  18. Looks like a great day 2..hope you're all having a great time!
  19. Services for hire-Table Holder at Bunyan Room or Blue Ox..upper mountain costs extra due to inconvenience charge. If planning a trip to Loaf, more than happy to spot res seats at Bully's while killing Tubular's like it's my new hobby
  20. Not sure of expertise of tuners in Arlberg or Rodgers in Scarborough. I have a bud at Arlberg in Portland-I'll ask for their qualifications.
  21. Sorry to hear about these additional injuries to our alpine brothers and sisters...no guarantee I could have avoided this injury if I was on two planks instead of one but certainly the torque, force and twisting imparted on my leg was amplified through my hardboot. Good news so far is that the left leg fibula and tibia bones and ankle have not displaced and are stable-2 more weeks go back for another picture show..,may dodge surgery and casting. My right shoulder badly swollen, no obvious ac joint separation. possible break from sternum to clavicle, really hard to see on xray. Need a new POC..havent seen my Proteus yet so no idea if it is ok. May have cracked my Deeluxe shell and heel after further inspection. For now, aircast and crutches and a sparkly upbeat attitude. I hope everyone carves a couple trenches at MCC for the fallen. DB
  22. and I’m out.left leg.high fib fracture low tib spiral trying to avoid a collision in front of me..sacrificed and hit the brakes along with possible shoulder sep on right side..so screwed but there’s always next year 46 years was a good run..
  23. Nice, likely at Mt Abram or Black in Rumford for Sat/Sun and back to River on Monday.
