  1. Ha..I thought those were yours EB was talking about
  2. You never forget your first...1987 Burton Cruzer 165...I'll bet Stowe will be pretty heavy with riders vs. skiers tomorrow for their opening-thanks Jake
  3. Do you still have these? Need for a buddy building a kit. Thank you
  4. Let me know if you still have them-thanks--helping a newbie put together a kit
  5. Game 7 left me feeling cold and dead inside. After the rat let the 2nd goal happen, the optimism was gone. They played $hitty at home-is what is is..neither one of those surgeries sound pleasant. Guessing hip is faster. Old man had rotator cuff/bicep tear/tri damage..6 months+ of little usage after surgery.
  6. "Just checked the UMH archives I'm still on the career penalty minute all time leader list. Not where I wanted to be 20 years after the fact, but In fairness to me I did really only get 3 full years of playing time with some injuries at both ends of my #fullride, I would have been a top 15 all time goon if I got my full 120 games in, just saying." Domi, McSorley, Pronger, Beukeboom, Messier, McTavish, Iafrate, Stevens, Shanahan, Neeley....miss that hockey
  7. Any potential to ride tomorrow or are you just going to be soaking up sun on the sidelines?
  8. Will be an audible on 3/8..potentially heading to Loaf..visibility sunday was obscured by the 50+gusts so I two-planked it. Coverage good..no cahvahs present.
  9. late to party again...I'll get in line if they don't go to Topboost
  10. Apologize for my terrain ADD..tend to just move and migrate a lot at SR, usually due to crowding but I was pleasantly surprised..Couple of near miss hairy moments but no collisions. I was tired myself after riding with Matt, who is 1/2 my age.
  11. Monday was excellent..on chair at 8:10, .lift line wait of 5mins or less for a holiday? Can live with that. Snowglobe all day, great carving in the morning, met Frank aka TVR, got some laps with him, rode softies half day and went until 2:45, great conditions, very little scratch.
  12. Anyone carving at SR on Sunday or Monday? While I detest holiday weekends, I have had no time on hill since MLK and have free vouchers for SR.
  13. Would love a real-world honest report on Friday morning when you're out there to hear how it fairs from the mixed bag
  14. As I watched PSlalom last night, I believe the red course had one win on Red for women and Men..and Men's win was due to Fisch falling on blue. The top definitely seemed harrier for blue but the bottom was lopsided. There were at least 3 racers that had tactical errors that appeared to eliminate their shot only to have them finish ahead at the bottom. Turned down the commentators..would have been nice to have some feedback from folks that understood the basics
  15. What’s painful is looking at the swing from Friday to saturday Looking forward to hearing boardguru’s review...was trying to get dan to model something like the after the schtubby and the Longbow which was an experiment. looks really nice...enjoy!,
  16. I'm game if these are still available
  17. Race30, as we get closer to those dates, I may be there and will be happy to help where I can. If you want to ride this weekend, going to Mt Abram Sunday...I work in Kittery so even if you want to meet up for a beer and bar talk carving happy to help. Derek
  18. I think those were under Hagen Kearney’s post on sbx trader
  19. dingbat lives...bro...do you even snowboard...what's happnin?

    music

Went back into the soundtrack vault..Repo Man and Pump up the Volume...I remember that I burned these cassettes out in my car from overplay..
  21. JD- there's a couple runs at the cat that are fun carvers-Catapault, Cheetah and some other things that end in "Cat". There's one run under the Bobcat chair that's pretty fun as well. Really depends on where the traffic is headed. It's not a carver's mt for sure but.. It definitely favors shorter lengths so I find myself on the madd158 more..rode Nirvana Saturday, powder sunday on winterstick and skied the afternoon. Monday was brutal cold-kitty closed-bloody bar open..case closed. Give it a go again on superbowl weekend. Sunday is always great since everyone is off mt by noon. Time to start making loaf pilgrimages...January has left it's skid marks..we're on to February
  22. If Jay were hour and half for me, I'd consider that my go-to home mountain. I day trip to Sugarloaf and 300+ round trip, River and Wildcat is 2hrs. Jay is worthy of the 3-4 day weekend trip. less than that, cant justify. Take a look at what Jay and Smuggs have received in the lull we have had in the past 2-3 weeks.
  23. Come to the kitty...be there all weekend
