It is pimped, just...redneck.

It runs, it drives, it's a beauty.

BUT it's about as safe as a Corvair, has 350 foot pounds of torque, and glasspacks.

It really has to go.

If anyone wants to buy it, I'll cut you a bomber deal :P

Think of it as a "vintage" demo board. Heavily demoed.

Shoot, if it wasn't made out of reconstituted feces and geared like a tractor, I would do just that.

My dad won't let me drive it when I'm older. Too much torque and too unsafe.

Oldest vehicle I can have is one as old as me..93 Foxbody! ;)

WHEEL IN THE SKY KEEPS ON TURNIN

On second thought, you can't hear squat when it's running. It's basically open exhaust, the glasspacks just cut out the higher frequencies. We've run it with open headers, it's not any louder.

I learned to drive on a '52 Willy's Jeep when I was 11, up in maine in our back field. We used to have a '72 chevy cheyenne for haulin' the dirtbikes. I know about redneck rigs.

I'll tell you what though, a 27 horsepower tractor hauls ass compared to a 14 horsepower riding mower.

That's a drag race I did in Maryland, I was on the tractor.

Too many shifters though..

http://media.putfile.com/TRACTORRACE3

It whines kinda funky in 8th, grinds in 7th, but rides ssoooooo sweet in 6th.

Is that a bike rack? Very nice and original. More cities should do that!

I think so. I spotted it while in Honolulu and hopped on it for the photo. Note the cast on the right hand. The week before I had experienced a UPD (UnPlanned Dismount) from one of my unicycles and broke the hand. Had to have three pins inserted.

Same board, Mistral Competition, I do have a couple new (used) sails. I have 2 Hood River sails, 7.0 and 5.8, and a Gaastra 3.2 that I've only been able to use on my skateboard so far. Planning on taking a Bic Rumba off my friends hands, and once I get a larger boom an 8.0 or maybe larger sail may be in my future. Mostly when it's too light to plane we goof off with oldschool freestyle moves like the ones in this video...

Hmmmm....judging by the splint and the fact that these bones shift in a cast and thereby need to be pinned, I would say you had a 4th or 5th metacarpal fracture, which is, BTW, called a "boxer's fracture"

So what's the real story?

You called it right. 5th metacarpal fracture resulting in three lengthy pins running the width of my palm. After years of gymnastics and 2000+ parachute jumps I had to incur my first broken bone riding a unicycle!

Our ski club has bike rides every Monday in the summer and if there's a route under 12 miles and not too hilly, I'll ride my 28" Sun Unicycle. I mounted a bike computer on it and only average 6-7 mph. One August evening in 2005 I was just setting out on a ride on a drizzly evening and a steep downhill start when I got careless and fell. Instinctively, I put out my hand and took the full brunt of the fall on the palm of my hand. I've had falls like that since but I now wear rollerblade wrist guards. You can see them under my Six Flags outfit (I actually shaved my head for this ride).

No real recent pictures, this one is from the beginning of last season. I only snowboard to make up for the time I can't use this:

that's Badass, MUD. My riding buddy has the 520 EXC all tricked out for enduros ie street legal.

I'm shopping for a big bore enduro I can run on the street. This would be my first choice if the budget was unlimited. pretty sick !

Ouch, I wish you a fast and good recovery.
