  1. Everything is sold, I'm officially out. Thanks for being such a great community! If either of my kids wants to start snowboarding, I'll come back and get some gear. If anyone wants to host all the catalogs, feel free to download them (or ask me to send them to you), they may disappear if I have time to overhaul my website.
  2. Back again, one year after I'm selling what is left: Catek World Cup short plates 1997 Burton Performance bindings (with accessories)

  4. Follow up: I gave my snowboards, bindings (not all) and boots to my closest friend. He's bored with skiing, so he's going to take up snowboarding for some challenge. He took the Catek Olympic Series, but he's going to pay for them as they still have a good reselling value. I was looking at the selling value of the Cateks and I'm surprised by the price they are still selling used! I will have the Burton Performance and Catek World Cup for sale soon.
  5. West carven, My website is (sort of) back online. The website is a little broken, but the gallery works fine, so you should have access to all the older catalogs I had.
  6. Hi west carven, (Almost) everything is still there, new (similar) url, but stupid thing, it's offline because I have to get a keyboard to turn it on (it's an old webserver besides my desk). I'll post back when it's online. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  7. Hi guys, It's been 10 years since I snowboarded last time. It's also been 9 years since I posted here last time. Lots has changed, it's not even BomberOnline anymore! I found that the pleasure I get from snowboarding is not worth the time, cost and hassle it requires. I've done some renovations recently and found all my snowboarding stuff. I'm not sure what to do with it since it's so old! Here's what I have: 1998 Nitro GTX 166 snowboard 1997 Burton Performance bindings Catek World Cup bindings Catek Olympic Series bindings 1997 Burton Furnace hardboots Other stuff: 1993 Burton Air 6.1 snowboard 1993 Burton Freestyle bindings 2000 Burton Glide softboots 2004 Giro Nine9 helmet 1994(?) Burton snowboard bag Maybe the bindings are still worth something. Nitro board very cheap locally? (not worth shipping) Burton board very very cheap as a rock board? Burton hardboots for parts? (too old to ride safely) Burton softboots and board bag could be sold locally Burton freestyle bindings in the trash Helmet too old Any input? Thanks all! P.S. I know about the classifieds, looking for opinions first, thanks!
  8. This? Higher resolution available on my website.
  9. 1993 Burton Air 6.1 with original bindings (the first year of 3D).

    Photog question

I like to take some pictures sometimes and I can say you can do a lot if your P&S has some manual settings. It's how I am learning. Here's a couple of samples:
  17. Any front wheel drive or all wheel drive car that has normal ground clearance and good snow tires, but you also have to drive intelligently. As Bullwings said, all wheel drive is good when starting to move (or maybe when turning, I never drove one) but for braking, all cars have all wheel brakes!
  18. No, the Wind are not the softest. 1999-2000: Fire * > Wind / Ice > Earth 1997: Furnace > Reactor > Shadow > Boiler / Freecarve The Fire is a stiffer Wind and replaced the Furnace. The Furnace is a stiffer Reactor. The Ice is a women's Wind with one less clip. The Earth is the same as the Shadow The Boiler is the same as the Freecarve, but with better hardware (lean mechanism, clips) You can take a look at my old catalogs page.
  19. My favorites are flame and noise, but if I bought a Donek board, I wouldn't mind having any of these desings on it.
  20. I can tell you that the Batman snowboard is symmetrical. Here's proof (2 different models):

    ECES Demos

I have maybe a 65% chance of attending. I would be interested in demoing some boards because, even if I have been snowboarding since 1993 and riding alpine since 1998, I don't know what type of board I would like for my next board. It doesn't guarantee that I will buy a board from the maker in the following year. I'm not a joyrider, I just want to know how different boards feel so I can make a good decision when getting my next board.
