is the topsheet a print, or does bruce do marquetry veneers now? because that would be Awesome.

it is a print. He has his nephew helping the artwork now. That pic does not do it justice. That would be insane as a veneer!

of course, now thinking about inlaid veneers and camber/decamber has me wondering what the effects on stiffness and modulation would be. and how one could tune the board response by varying the gaps between inlays.

188 Coiler monster, 13/14/15 sidecut, 23 cm waist, 16mm of taper. I was looking for a light powder/soft groomer/'tweener stick.

Thanks to Angie for pointing me towards the monster, Tabby for suggesting the air freshener on my dash for the top sheet, and finally, Bruce for his generous donation and for building such a great stick!

You're gonna love that thing. I have a 184 20.5 or 21 wide version (can't recall which) and it's a blast.

Dang.. Huge Virus-like camber it has. I'm a sucker for that.

Please do review the model in English here. OES site has some reviews but in Russian. Tried Google Translate but still ..not clear on its characteristic.

ok, I'll try. last year I rode a bunch (5 or 7) of OES test-boards here in Siberia - and found one single 164fc (164sl then) which I definitely love, so - this two newlyborns (one stiff and camberfull, don't know how I'll like virtually absent rockers on tip and tail coz I usually ride offpiste on them, second seems like normal). I found 164 prototype of last year having lovely aggressive pogo overdose-style fun-slalom character, I rode it all over the mountain (rockers work wonders in shallow powder), including cat-skiing guiding on it - I was happy having it my go-to board for 3 month (changing it to others only for powder)

Ok sorry for the slow reply. Some more pics of this plate.... It's wild.

Also looking for some feedback on where I have the axles under my binders. I have a160 jja sl board and I set up the axles close to the way I have them set up on that board.... I will say when I ride my sl board I ride well back from where I generally find myself on my other boards. Not bad, just different....

Same specs as the one I ordered back in 2009, which sadly is on its deathbed now...

172cm long

19cm waist

13m sidecut

quite stiff

...but this time with a modern camber profile since I've been curious about that for quite a while.

And fewer inserts because 5 years later I'm pretty sure I know exactly where I want my feet to be. :)

Christmas came early for my gal Beth this year with this latest creation from the mind of Dr. Varsava. Given her weight, ability and creative license, Bruce created this 161 Subbette - Nirvana hybrid, now dubbed the "Stubvana" Throw in the Hibiscus / Retro-wood carbonium top sheet (Tanks for beating her to the debut Mario !) and we have another satisfied customer and member of the carver nation. She begins her season today at Afton Alps, but will give herself a little time adjusting to new boots before giving "Makana" a ride.
