  1. @dredman I will be there next Wed-Fri. 22-24th. Love to take a few runs with someone with local knowledge. I've been there a few times, but it's been a while.
  2. Donek Saber custom, 166cm X 29cm, 10-11 m side-cut. Rides super nice, so smooth.
  3. Headed to Whitefish next week for a few days, how are the conditions currently? Also going to checkout Blacktail as well, so conditions for there also appreciated. Any reason not to ride some new boards ?
  4. Is there a maximum board length restriction for SBX at any level ? What general sizes are most riders using ?
  5. I've been using the Burton Genesis bindings last few seasons. They are super comfy, and flexier than the Cartels I rode for many seasons prior. I have come to like the comfort and also the flex which is not floppy, but progressive, so it has a good feel to it. I'm using them on some pretty wide Donek boards and am a larger person and I haven't wanted anything stiffer.
  6. Tried various types of risers in the past from Burton and Palmer, tried some canted beds as well, but prefer just riding flat now, there is a little toe lift on the binding foot bed, which I suppose helps some on the toe side.
  7. I'm (soft boot) carving at Mission Ridge most weekends, there are few hard boot riders there as well. Great terrain for carving there and excellent grooming. If you come over, look for a large guy riding a Donek who likes to turn. We can go for some runs (at least 6ft apart this season).
  8. I ride there regularly. It has great carving runs, and other great terrain as well. Lift lines are small to non-existent but on a weekend or holiday you will want to get there before 0830, as the parking lot can fill up, even though the runs are uncrowded. I believe the schedule this season is offering more midweek days open. Check the web site to be sure. It's been snowing a bunch lately and coverage is great If you come, send me a note and I will show you around if I'm there.
  9. Thanks for showing us some stashes, (we poached them again a few times !) we found some other fun tree runs that were untouched powder as well. Park City has some super fun terrain and the carving was pretty good too. I will show you some stashes as well, when you visit the PNW. Again, thanks for riding with us, you are an awesome rider as well, fast and smooth!
  10. Coming to PC later this month for 4-5 days over New Years, how are the conditions/coverage ?
  11. I will add my thoughts on the Burton Genesis as well. Probably the most comfy binding I have ever used. I just ordered up another pair for this season. I ride them on all mountain and BX boards, and with forward lean, they carve well for me. I ride pretty wide boards now days, so the heel cup doesn't cause boot out but might be a factor on narrower boards. I have come to like the flex of them and haven't broke any parts on these.
  12. @JetSpeed I will traveling to Bourg St Maurice and others near there in late March. How have the conditions been?
  13. I'll throw my vote in for Donek Incline. I have one 169cm x 30cm. Pretty solid ride for most stuff except maybe icy bumps.
  14. You might consider packaging it as if were you going to ship it. Not too many bags out there that long, some old ski bags maybe, but probably would not be wide enough.
  15. Sounds like fun! Hope your celebrity has rudimentary motor skills
