leeho730
Donek carbon Incline 160 Nice!! How are the conditions at Mt Hutt this season? It's horrible. 55cm on upper mountain! Missed two snow storms almost completely. Rocks and pebbles on upper mountain trails and off-piste almost non-existent.

Rob Stevens
155 Asmo Pow Surfer by Wolle Nyvelt and Stefan Gruber of Austria. Channeled base profile with dropped rails. Will rip up tracked out snow. Fraishe? Fuggedaboutit. 170 on the way. Still love the NoBoard pad on the Fish... Just a different ride. One rides like a surfboard, the other a snowboard, which it is. www.oldsnowboards.com
Rob. Do they build a line of boards? Longer no binding boards? Question. The noboard pad on your website vs the burton noboard pad. Are they the same? Same size, construction, materials? Thanks again. Bryan Do you plan to build your own noboard specific boards this season??

*Ace*
I already asked.... I think I remember being told they are just making boards for friends and insiders. Ron told me "He makes about 30 to 50 a year, mostly in the summer, so you'll probably never see one in person." I would love to have one as well. Wolle slaughters it on this thing, one of my favorite riders.

philw
I watched Terje riding on his last season, although I didn't know precisely what it was at the time. I decided not to try it in my hard boots... He was of course pretty good on it, although he quickly reverted to his Barracuda. I like the idea of something which is harder to do than general snowboarding, but then on the other hand it's still all the reasons I avoided snowboarding in 1983 or whenever it was. SunSurfer
As I write this in Wellington New Zealand. on Monday 15th August 8:15 pm there is snow on my deck outside. My car is parked down the hill because there was too much ice to get it up to the top (120 metres above sea level) of our seaside suburb. I have never in my lifetime seen anything quite like this in NZ. The airport just down the hill is closed because of snow & ice. And this is the North island, the warmer one! In 48 hours time I will be in Wanaka & Queesnstown area, for an 11 day trip to the snow, booked in April this year. Eat your heart out, or go and watch Johnasmo's latest "Summer Hardbooting" video for an out of season fix of your favourite sport. LOL funny, those guys rock! Jack M
LOL, awesome video by dredman. Made me laugh and cringe in several places. Seems like the reverse shape of a snowboard would be a liability at inopportune moments...? And man I really like coming OUT of my wakeboard when I crash!!
