  1. What a shame I am flying through New Zealand AFTER the session, not before!
  2. Paul, I used to think that you were a good guy, but posting this kind of stuff is just cruel and mean and nasty to all of us. Bad Paul!
  3. I won't even begin to regail you all with my horror stories, suffice to say that I travel around Europe pretty much every week and you can guarantee that at least a couple of times a month you will get on a flight that makes you think seriously about the merrits of train travel. However it was all topped off on a flight back from Rome last weekend (which had ironically been for pleasure, not business). We had not one, not two, not three but four - yes FOUR - screaming babies on board. And then the mother of one who was sitting one row in front of me and opposite decided to change her kid's nappy/diaper which was full of baby $£%&, but instead of taking the kid to the bathroom, she just did it right there in the seat, making most of those around less than impressed.
  4. Fin, chicks dig suits, you should be onto that. I think you should wear it for the formal presentations on schwanquet night at SES!
  5. Yep me too (aside from work every day). My wife thinks that I am more addicted to BOL than she is to Facebook!
  6. That doesn't sound good, Ais. What's up? Anything we can help with?
  7. Hmmm, for 20EUR it works out to about 15 quid plus freight. Probably not a bad buy considering you are in the UK, but I'd agree with Bob. Save up those pennies and buy metal. I just got mine and can't wait to hit the snow on it... ...by the way, if you are looking for a riding buddy for a couple of Euro weekend hit and runs, let me know...
  8. ...a Prior WCR Metal 167. Yummy!
  9. Great work. Believe me, you will love SES and the girls are awesome fun.
  10. From my trips to Aspen, on balance I would agree with Ernie. While it is frustrating to sit on such a slow chair, between that and the difficulty in getting on and off for beginners, it certainly keeps that side of the hill relatively free of riders and so the quality of the runs you do through the day doesn't deterioriate anywhere near as much as in areas served by high speed lifts.
  11. I refuse to give in to the addiction, although I have a defacto account via my wife (and she is addicted).
  12. Another great reason to add to the list of why I bought one...so that I can convince the other half!
  13. I like that idea actually. I probably won't have time between now and Feb to do anything to it though. Working 10-12 hours a day makes me want to spend the rest of my life in bed! But let's make it a project for the session.
  14. Yeah I couldn't even remember doing that interview until Michelle told me it was on the vid. I can't wait either. Hopefully Larry can ship over here. Going to do some Spring riding in Europe too while we are living in London so will chat about that at the session.
  15. I actually bought an in-stock board so they are already mounted and they freighted it yesterday. But never fear, I can always get new ones sent over later, or alternatively we can come up with a new design to work around the decals.
  16. I think that's a sterling idea. Just gives me an excuse to go retro shopping!!! It scares me that the pic is probably actually of Thor and it probably was from your personal collection and you were probably wearing something worse behind the camera...
  17. Trying too cope with the English language is just to much!
  18. Larry the clips look fantastic and are really getting me stoked for riding this Winter. Question re: shipping. Can you ship to the UK (because that's where I'm living now)? Thanks, Dan
  19. Dude, you are about half a step ahead of me. I ordered a metal from Chris TODAY!!! I can't wait. So I'm definately up for a few beers and a seeing what a little polish can do while the girls go and live it up one night. Only 8 weeks to go....
  20. I have just bought a new Metal Prior WCR so have reason to sell my standard construction board. Mind you, I love it, but it just won't get enough use now. The board is a standard square tail 168. It is two seasons old now with a vintage maple leafe top sheet. The base has a couple of minor scratches but I will get it tuned and cleaned up before I sell it. Not many days on it because of I will try to post some photos soon. Most importantly, it is in London. I get to Europe with work very regularly (particularly Germany) but otherwise can freight to Europe or UK without too much trouble. I am also coming to SES in Feb so can bring it over to the US then if desired (freight that way is expensive). Any questions let me know.
  21. That is one of the most pimped out boards I have ever seen.... I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I want one I WANT ONE!!!!
  22. Better idea (no offence Sinecure, cos I think your idea rocks and I am just trying to improve on it). Get him a certificate for a couple of massage lessons TOGETHER. My wife is a physiotherapist and I have learnt so much about massage from her it's amazing. If you both learn together you can both work on each other together (as opposed to you just working on him) which is soooooo much better! The best thing is if you tell him is that your present is that you are taking him somewhere special to learn something he doesn't know. Then he will be excited to start with. Don't tell him what you are doing or where you are going, just drag him there; make it a surprise. It will keep his expectations high and hopefully you will both enjoy it a lot more. Secrets are good....
