  1. It took some time but my this winter collection is finally complete. As we will have long riding season here in Cali, these boards still fall in this winter. From left Jones Ultracraft split, Virus Revolution Hypercarbon Narrow and finally Virus custom UFC 165 Evolution.
  2. Rather surprising to me. No wonder Fin gave up when more than half of the people on the Bomber was on different binding. I got F2 first time this winter with a board. Mixed feelings my next set will be regular TD3. I am using TD3 on front and Sidewinder on back.
  3. Let’s face the facts. It is sport of old farts with no future here in States. We are going the way of mono ski to obscurity. Last weekend I got the best explanation. I was riding with Joe at North Star. In the line a front of us some young local bums with naked asses. After they sat on chair one turned and shout at us “Go back to Russia we ride soft boots in America.” Well we are not even Russians. I guess we were lucky he did not accuse us of collusion.
  4. Did anybody had chance to ride both of them and make a comparison? I know how MK rides but I don’t how to get hand on those Thirst board. And I am not going to Montana. I like MK more than Kessler. Any input welcomed
  5. She just won atlet of the year in Czech republic. No wonder it was first gold in alpine skiing for country ever.
  6. That Virus Is a great deal, you can’t do better. I don’t ride long boards but for this price. But it is a little too far for me for a local pickup.
  7. And that´s why I sold my plate after one season. You don’t ride but play mechanic on the slope. They are maybe good for racing but for free carving by my opinion waste of money.
  8. That Rocket is great board. I had the same one and I am still kicking my head I sold it.
  9. I got F2 with a board. I like screws moving blocks and that's probably it. Even with problems I have been complaining for years with Bombers, F2 is not even closer to be compared with SW, but they are significantly cheaper. I am glad Bomber is back in business .
  10. How many boards actually they had before bancrupcy? My guess not too many. There were people who payed for board and never got one.
  11. Very good binding. I am 180lbs, no problem.
  12. Well now I know more. Japanese manufacturer it means impossibility to buy it in U.S. And extremely expensive as most of Japanese snowboard stuff. How much you would be willing to pay for this binding? Problem solved. I will stick with TDs. Only if Walker will have them in stock. My biggest complaint about Bomber is adjustability for small boots. Any tiny angle adjustment and I need move one of the blocks to reach screws. I recently got F2, their canting system I don't like. I will ride probably just flat. But adjustability for the boot length with screw is much more convenient than on Bombers. I also have one Piokka binding. It is set up and that's it. Absolute nightmare to make adjustments on the slopes. In the end I am stuck with Bomber for last 25 years?
  13. It looks really nice. Walker better has some bindings for sale soon and new guys should have real web page and not just face****. Definitely interesting.
  14. Just ordered spare parts for $ 200. Do I need them now? No but let give Walker chance to continue in business. Too bad he does not have complete sets in the stock. I can use regular set of TD3.
  15. I will buy board with binding. Ladiat@gmail.com
  16. Well, stop at Kwood. There can be up to 5 carvers on weekends. We also go to a Nstar, but there is to many people on weekends. I go there when is ugly weather and the other resorts will be close for wind or zero visibility. Heavenly not for me. See you on the slopes.
  17. I think Frank is working on one of these also.
  18. Did anybody heard any news from new Bomber owner? Man, throw us some bones, some spare parts just something. Or is it time just to switch to companies which probably will be in business for some time in future? I have been on Bomber about 25 years, but loosing hope.
  19. Hmm it looks more like Niedecker is piece of ? and why are you using it after some many failures is rather questionable. I have been ridding Carbon boards from 4 different manufacturers for about 15 years without single failure. So where is the problem? Maybe some people simply know how to build boards ?.
  20. I did. MK and 168 last year during last Bomber session at Kirkwood. I liked MK much more. Too bad it does not come with different graphic.?
  21. I Still have an original Plush liner. For me it is the best liner, but be carefull, if you have tall boots it can be maybe too short. I am using it in modified AT boots.
  22. Barry, go with DGSS, it is better design and you can have it in a week.
  23. Sorry to say it, but it looks like only option for future after couple years replacement parts will not be available to salvage. I have 3 pairs of SW and 1 regular TD3 so I should be OK for a while. Elastomer inserts of SW will go first, to make die to cast them should not be big problem. We will have to go to DIY mode.
  24. I Would be interested in St1 26.5 shell only
