  1. Yeah.........I also run mixed springs/colors - red longer with a blue shorter spring on my Track 700's with my Swoard EC......but all blue springs on Track 425's with my Moss PQ60 But I still had to grind down the lower springs on both boot (435 and 700's) setups to get to my "comfort" zone and have had no problems There is so much micro tuning for Alpine riding before your ever riding! ! On my boards I'm trying to keep track of angles, stance width, 3 F toe and 6 R heel lift, Gilmour bias, boot flex, boot rigidity,...now add BTS Man......any of those could be a really useful workshop at the non official ATC!! I got my BTS working where I like it....but have no idea if it's ...correct! ......or how much more I could or should adjust it, and to what effect that adjustment would have on my carving!
  2. Hmh! Somebody needs to tell those Egyptians their stance width is so "Old School" narrow! ......and that they need some heel and toe lift!!! Uh...unless they ride EC.
  3. Would have to agree..... nice people, professional and very efficient in getting my order out............
  4. In this video Big Mtn. destroyer and Tahoe local Jeremy Jones comes back to his roots of what it's really all about, "The Glide" - very cool! I would call it "The Carve" !!
  5. Hey Wes Taking a better look...I wouldn't call it binding suck...more like top sheet binding shadow. Can't really even get a photo of it...... you can't feel it but you can see partial (toeside ) outline of old Ibex binding placements As for the base, I can still scrape (old) wax off the base.....that striated hippy dippy base color makes it hard to tell!! How about splitting the shipping with me?............it's freaking light and can't be too much to Big Mtn. Give me your zip and I'll get it weighed tomorrow. FYI: Yellow is the lightest and fastest color!! Yeah, I was passing thru on business and spent the morning at the Fish. Seemed like a great local Mtn. for what little time I was there. I remember kind of sloppy spring conditions down low and ice fog up top ?? So I stayed down low and was done early when it turned to slush.
  6. Hey Snowjob, I totally agree with Rob on this one...... and I ride in Tahoe on hero snow! Well even here it can get scraped off to glare ice, which is what's starting to happen since we haven't had any new snow for 10? days. It's cold enough at night for the Mtns. to blow snow but they got to spread that out and then the masses scrape the rest off..............anyway, my point is I used every mm of my 2/1 tuned Swoard Extremecarver edges this weekend at Squaw and Northstar...........so don't detune nothing and get out there and ride it like you stole it!
  7. 1999 Burton FP 6.4 Hardly seen any use. Base and edges are perfect. No sidewall dents or scratches. Noseguard is perfect. A couple of topsheet nicks (shown) on the nose and some vague plate binding shadow on the topsheet.
  8. Ha Rob! You say it like you been there done that...as to BP!
  9. Thanks for all the input and votes! Yeah....I was expecting the sexy Blue and White model, and Moss sent the shop an additional board as a Demo..which we thought would be an additional Blue and White....so it was a total surprise I wasn't ready for to see the Sunrise model. I'm a linear guy.....so it's been hard for me to decide, but looks like you guys are 3 to 1 for the Sunrise! I plan to take one of them out to Demo this weekend and we will see!
  10. Ha! Love the comments! Make sure you cast your vote also!!
  11. I just found out I have a choice of these two topsheets!....and I can't decide!! What do you guys say??
  12. I'm with Bobby Buggs on this......rethinking - especially after having a brain fart on the chair at Boreal and absentmindedly jettisoned my board trying to adjust the release handle of my Fintec's through my pants! (I now have had slits/slots? sewn into my ski pants for the handle to poke through....and no, it's has never gotten caught on anything and released.....even when Eurocarving) Thank God my board landed upside down and didn't kill anybody and in the pow so the board was unscathed.......only my ego was hurt when the Liftie looked on in amazement as I walked off the chair and nonchalantly started walking back down the lift line and then had to swim through waist deep pow for 30-40ft .....which took me 20 exhausting minutes....ugh! A Leash would have avoided all that...................
  13. I go with Corey's method of smacking my Fintec heels against my (TD3 stepin) heel receivers, typically while riding the lift.....but it does mar up the Fintec metal surface and I usually have to take a file to them once a season to get the burs smoothed out.
  14. Hmm! What weight range was this made for??
  15. Just so Happy I gotta reply again!! Bomber forums being back online is............
