Corey
@big mario Short board tip: cut your normal speed in half to start. There's a WHOLE bunch of energy just hiding in the little beasts. Harness it at lower speeds so you don't get inverted if (when ) it grabs and bucks you. Have fun! 2
inkaholic
@Corey we have also told Petunia not to go for the nose initiating turns. Keep the weight centered on the short boards, especially on Thirst since that is how they are designed to be ridden. Not enough tip and tail to push back against if you make too large a movement in either direction. ink 4
bigwavedave
Petunia I think the reflex to "curb stomp the nose like it owes you money" is going to be a hard habit to break for a guy from New Joysey to break. Have fun Mario! Wear a neck brace so you don't get whiplash. I kid, but these little boards can turn so quickly when pushed, that you can find your upper body struggling to catch up with your lower half.
JRAZZ
Telling Mario to have finesse and not go all aggro... He's all about the subtlety you know Now I have to drag myself out of bed on a Sunday just to see the show! 1
