Keenan
If you face plant and the board hits you in the back of the head, it's a Scorpion.

Just looking back up hill and next thing you know ,I am going through the two ,fluorescent bamboo poles! Skier friends comment, " that was you?" drschwartz
Pretty sure this sequence of one of my racers exhibits a brief classic superman, followed by a scorpion, a snowboard version of a yard sale, and then finishes with a lawn chair. Go Sage!! IMG_0587.MOV
Smilin'Dave
Treehugger - has variations, pretty much any time your momentum ends with contacting a tree. My son did an inverted treehugger at Big Mtn last year. Was left hanging upside down from the branches.
Jonny
Triple Jump is when one binding blows out or off and you can't establish an edge so you try to save yourself by hopping from board to bare boot and back. I've had this happen to my back foot (Thank you, Burton Race Physics!) but thank god never to my front foot If you're on a steep enough slope after a scorpion you won't stop and will become a human toboggan or Runaway Rescue Sled

Doesn't end well. I can attest that this is true. 20" powder day... never saw it coming. Riding alone in the trees is not a good idea.

The fix was to put a small tether on the toe bail and clamp it under front boot buckle ( peace of mind goes a long way to counteract fear ). Colozeus
I'm pretty sure i did a misty flip to lawn chair last year. Ended up with a messed up quadratus lumborum and a bruised hip. my entire lower back seized up a few days after i got back from the trip. Way overloaded the nose and got launched into the air. Managed 1 and a half flips with my front foot having come out of the binding. Seeing snow/sky/snow between your foot and the board is not a good feeling. Lucky for me I landed right on my head and didn't torque my knee into 1000 pieces. My wife was right behind me when it happened. She was white when she skiied up to me. Thought I was going to be dead or something.
pmorita
Thumbprint Cookie - Catch a heelside edge, helmet slams into the snow and leaves a big, round dimple.
snowwjob1
Did that last year under the lift on a powder day. Had a small ice ball under heel with only 1 pin engaged.
pmorita
Hansel and Gretel - Like a yard sale. Fall, leave your gloves, then your goggles, then your hat, then your poles, then your skis. Then follow the trail back home. Sonny Bono - Hit your head on a tree while not wearing a helmet.
