  1. Ride Timeless 168 I bought the board preseason at my local Ski Patrol Swap Sale. I met the guy selling it. He told me the board has a DPS treatment. I believe the board is 07 or 08. Ive ridden Timelesses, not this one. I paid $80 for the board. I believe in supporting my patrol. ALL proceeds of this board will be given to Mtn Creek Ski Patrol. If you choose to not buy this board, it will be donated to the patrol for next year’s fundraiser. DaveJ

  3. MADD BX168 I bought the board used on Bomber or here. It carves like a demon. After 3 days riding the nose started to separate. I took it to 4 shops until it got epoxied and t-bolted. I've spent 12 days riding it since. It still carves like a MADD. The repair remains intact, but... I'm not putting a price on it. I’m asking $150 max for any of my boards (except the black Tanker.

  5. JJA was born less than 3 months after me, so I’m excited to see what follows. “Old, but not obsolete.”—Terminator Any update on JJA’s Olympic bid?
  6. Wow. Awesome to have Bomber back online. 2nd in line. PMed. Happy Holidays
  7. Treehugger - has variations, pretty much any time your momentum ends with contacting a tree. My son did an inverted treehugger at Big Mtn last year. Was left hanging upside down from the branches.
  8. Call Sean and Bruce (Donek and Coiler). I’m sure both can talk comparison with your current sled.
  9. Wow. That was a close one. My wife would have killed me. 3rd in line. I'll deal with my wife if it comes to that. i have faith in RJ though. Enjoy
  10. PMed. Emailed.

  13. After years of riding, I've finally found some answers that work for me. Basically the answer to two questions. Having a quiver somewhere between 15-20 boards, I've started asking, "How many boards is too many?" My answer: 1/2 my age. I'm 42, so it gives me some wiggle room. Works for me. And then, what's a decent goal for days riding per season? My answer: my age. Every year the number goes up. It doesn't mean I stop when I get there, just that I'm satisfied at that point. It's a work in progress. DaveJ
  14. There's an Amplid UNW8 160cm in the For Sale threads. You should buy that. Then I can ride it.
  15. Speak for yourself. In chorus: "You're a nerd, you're a nerd. And nobody likes you." -Hot Tub Time Machine 2- Worth watching, just for the song. You have towatch the 1st movie 1st though. Best day of carving I every had...was in softboots (probably on a Tanker). Went back to hardboots for one day since. That was about...9-10 years ago. Just sayin': You know the difference between how your old alpine board rides, as compaired to a brand new top shelf metal board with plate system and SIdewinder 3 step in whatevers (compaired to Td1's!!!) and BTS Booster Strap variable canted blah blah blah. Now imagine equivalent innovations happening between yesteryears softboot boards and today's softboot boards (sidecut tech, base profiles, Power Plates, Apex Gecko plates, etc). I find it soooo much more rewarding to lay out carves and trench the slope when I'm riding softboots. It's so much more work to accomplish it, so the satisfaction is greater. Come to the Darkside...we have cookies.
  16. PM'ed regarding regarding risers, possibly the board too.
  17. Damned if I know. I looked again, it's actually a 162. Who cares? Makes for a nice thread bump though... Borrowed one from a buddy. I mounted it to ride regular footed 18/-9 duckstance (I'm goofy footed 60/57 or 57/54 usually) to ride with my 9 year old daughter. It really levels the playing field. I'm trying to help with her toe turns. BX boards? I doubt I have anything worthy. F2 elDiablo, Volkl Cross, Madd BX, Palmer Carbon Circle, Heelside Carbon Fiber Top, Lib Tech Skunk Ape, or 3 separate Oxygen Supercross. I might be forgetting one...
  18. Bump. Anybody? 162 or 167 Tanker?
  19. Somebody should make a carving board call The Hooker.
