  1. I have a 2year old pair of Empire model, which have held up very well along with Drake Ltd. Bindings, it is a very solid system for softboot carving. Size 10 fit runs true
  2. Hey Aaron, I would be pleased to meet up with you at Beaver Creek, Though I am going through some health issues that will force me into a slow start this season, so not sure how good of a guide that I can be. I am usually there3-4 days per week, but probably won't be getting in the usual 60 days in this season. Feel free to reach out (DM), if you have any questions.. Cheers! Paul
  3. I have a set of Palmer risers, if you are still searching
  4. Well, if I had that PROBLEM, would sell the sxs and purchase two more dirt bikes, which 3 will easily fit in a 10' trailer. $.02 for free.. Then you will be ready for the GYPSUM motocross Park when it opens next Spring(May 1).
  5. -2019First Report 2018-2019: white stuff is just starting to stick to the trails at The Beav - with more on the way.
  6. Just let me know, if/when tht happens. Thanks!
  7. I would like to purchase the coiler, if it is still available,
  8. Helmet, gloves with built-in wrist guards and two pairs of underwear...pretty much does it for me.
  9. At 24'x14', that is a BIG DECK! One could have a party on a deck that size.
  10. Welcome to the neighborhood!
  11. Lake Powell: The place where all of that fine Beaver Creek corduroy goes when the season is over.
  12. Yeah, I can't imagine duck stance being an efficient configuration for my riding style. I guess it's a function of one's objectives. This guy clearly has different objectives... not that there is anything wrong with that. My stance angles are board specific, depending upon board width, though always forward facing, with the toe and heel set at the edges of the board with 5*-10* of splay.
  13. Another season comes to an end with pretty good conditions on closing day. Time to dust off the two-wheeler.
  14. I've got a fever... and the only prescription... is more carving!
  15. Response to lifty: "I'm not really sure what this is... It's what they gave me at the rental shop".
  16. I should be there through mid-day Saturday if you would like to meet up. Heading over to Vail for the US Open half pipe finals in the afternoon. Several of my son's bro's will be competing. 8:30 rope drop at chair 6.
  17. Don't forget that Beaver Creek hosts a World Cup Downhill every season on Golden Eagle. It's kinda steep... and with a WC race prep/finish, it will test one's meddle (and metal). Shooting Star, when groomed, is as good as it gets for steep groomer slope - see below.
  18. ^ So much fun burning laps with you today... bummed that I had to cut out early.
  19. This is INCREDIBLE... I never knew that Davy Jones was a hardbooter. Beware the Kraken!
  20. Did you know that alpine snowboards can be used like a Spirograph on snow? #venndiagram
  21. Ideally, you are not using friction (that would be skidding), but if you are able to hold the arcing carve until heading back uphill, you will be surprised how quickly speed is checked and control maintained.
  22. Nice review John, maybe now I won't have so many solo carving days.
  23. Andrei, are you still in for tomorrow? Parking at Arrowhead?
  24. Hope that it lives up to your expectations. Look forward to seeing you. Cheers!
