Mike T
Bruce has been building this for two seasons now, it's basically a AMT with a different sidecut, this 174 has the same side cut as my Angrry 170, with a wider deck and longer effective edge. Nirvana was the one word critique from Mike T when he first rode a prototype. I concurred at the SES13 Demo tent, this was the one board I did not want to return! Credit johnasmo with the name, not me. But I agree with the review.
crote123
Look at what the <del>cat</del> dog dragged in JJA Cypress 169 custom Dimensions (approximate) Lenght: 169cm Nose: 24.5cm Waist: 20cm Tail: 24cm Radius: 12/17/15 Built for 155lbs rider. Adapted to ice coast conditions. Subtle rocker at nose and tail. JJA also mentionned that the plate was adapted for my size and shaped a lttile differently (I think he mentionned the plate waist is a little wider than his regualr GS plates but I could be wrong there) Hand delivered by JJA and received a 45mins showboard/plate construction crash course :) Edited November 7, 2013 by crote123

C'est les meme specs que la planche EC de l'anné dernier ou est-ce-que Bruce a changé? Quelle a été l'inspiration pour les graphiques? McDougall
My new Nirvana 174 "Miss B.A." (Beth Ann) - Ordered at SES13, artwork completed April 2013, board built June 2013, combining the finished topsheet with another one of Bruce's masterpieces October 2013 (Had to wait for Golf season) Priceless!!Al - good job on holding out for the cute girlfriend. I thought I should be the first to mention without Beth on top it's just another white board with some snow and mountains. When I find one that cute I'm gonna want to ride her all the time too. Just sayin' what you know we're thinking. Lucky Guy. Get that girl riding Is it true you aren't going make the Sesh this year? I might have to room up with one of those weird East Coasters or something..

I might have to room up with one of those weird East Coasters or something.. Hey Kevin, Thanks and that's what Beth said also...LOL. I actually met her in the U.P., spotted her on a snowboard from the lift. Lucky indeed, she was already riding, more or less, but needed some equipment upgrades and pointers. She dialed up slalom skiing this Summer, now she's studying carving vid's, carpet carving and will be getting the hardboot set-up and a Prior 4WD from Santa. Hard to believe she is close to my age too! With any more luck we will attend SES 2015, provided this schedule change isn't permanent. I always have a Wine Symposium the last week in January which has me in California all month, logistically impossible to make SES unless it would only be for the last days, which I'm not keen on for the money to get there. Algunderfoot
Speaking of the U.P. While Miss B.A. will be my new all around travel board, I had a wild hair to make my midwest hills more interesting this winter. After taming the Virus 192 Undertaker, 14 cm underfoot didn't seem so intimidating, besides I am a water skier so this beauty is just missing the boat...the rope...the gas...and wake. She's a Coda Edge 185 Skwal, 10 M sidecut, I've named this Harlot "Golddigger". Edited November 18, 2013 by Algunderfoot

piusthedrcarve
Looks like it is set up with plates! Good fun! Not really. The board, chopper, 80-100cm model comes with the 2 squares on top of the inserts. It is basically polyurethane sheet.... I say about 1/8" thick. It may work as a shock absorber or to prevent binding slippage or maybe visual placeholder for binding? I don't know. but it is not S-Flex I'm looking for. :)

NWboarder
Bry, Powerlock I bindings with a 22.5 waist. Took it out today for opening day (mine and the Mountains) and wow. I had a blast... once I was able to feel confident. The first of couple runs were scary... it was like I forgot how to bend my knees, rotate, or lean. By noon I trusted the board, more so than any other I have ridden. I made a few mistakes and that little devil corrected me with some negative reinforcement (throwing me down for not committing to the carve) and at times positive reinforcement (saving me in an oversteer). I have a long way to go before I am using this banshi to the fullest of its/my potential.
