    Hi, My son and I will be in Calgary for short track speedskating competition end of october/beginning of november and a second time around march 20. So I figure out I can watch him and do a bit of snowboarding. I guess that conditions will be better in march ? right ? Which ski resort would you recommend ? I'm planning to ride around 3 days.

    Get a coiler 0.4 metal. Even more edge hold than the usual 0.3 metal. Since I have my nirvana 0.4 , my nirvana 0.3 is collecting dust.

    I have a nirvana energy 0.4 mm metal. It is the best board I 've ever ride. I ride on real east coast hardpack and ice, this board makes me ride on days I would have stay home.

    My new Coiler is a Nirvana Energy .4 metal - 174, I know I ride on ice by the sound only, this board holds its edge on the ice crazy !

    Luxury for me, I love the lace, I can tighten the liner. I have narrow ankles and small heels. I took the medium thickness mondo 27 in a 26.5 rc10 upz boots plus custom footbeds. Not easy to put on but no heel lift at last!

    Excellent choix de planche usagée. Avec ton gabarit et ta taille, je prendrais des fix solides, des f2 titanium. Il y en a des fois sur bomber. Pour les bottes, beaucoup de gens achètent trop grand la 1ère fois. L'idéal est d'avoir des chaussons thermoformables. Il ne faut pas que les talons bougent dans les bottes. Réal (redia) aiguise/cire très bien les snowboard. Bienvenue en hard boots! Tu vas rider ou?

    T'es bottes sont-elles de la bonne grandeur? Sans le liner, avec tes orteils qui touchent au bout, tu dois pouvoir mettre 1 doigt ou 1,5 doigt derrière le talon. Plus que ça ta botte est trop grande. Il y a des paddings en forme de C pour mettre autour de l'os de la cheville sur tognar.com, ça peût aider à tenir le talon au fond

    J'y vais 2~3 par hiver, seulement de jour en semaine car sinon trop de monde. Il y de belles pistes, la knowlton par exemple.

    A ce prix elles sont pas chères, seule note négative de ces semelles, les miennes, je ne sais pas pour Ernie et Réal, est qu'elles sont trop rondes en dessous au talon. Ce qui les rend moins stable. Les semelles vendues par les bootfitter sont carrées en-dessous pour assurer un maximum de stabilité.

    Je cire à chaud avec un fer 2 fois par année et le reste du temps j'utilise le wax wizard. Pas de scrapage, pas de brossage, pas besoin de nettoyer après. Le wax wizard à été acheté par ski md. (Skimd.com) Compagnie qui fait des tune up à 150$ us... Tu peux l'acheter sur tognar.com.
