  1. N+1 = what you should have. N being current board +1 being another board. = quiver Cory typed about above. The LCI comes off as a bunch of arrogant big headed folks but we're really just a bunch of idiots out to have fun and to help others have more fun themselves. Peep the Yo LCI thread in the CO forum. If it helps to with our season passes we can get you a $95 buddy tix. Hope to see you soon. ink P.S. Most of us have quivers and may be able to help with an interim board if you really can't get along with the Rev.
  2. As stated above, race boards need the driver to provide constant input. It does not sound like that is your style of riding and there is nothing wrong with that. Some folks like the variable sidecut and some like radial. It's personal preference. The variation of your incline is nowhere near as extreme as on the rev which is one reason they don't respond in the same manner. Think about meeting up with the LCI at Loveland on a Sunday. You will get plenty of tips from people who are seeing you ride, have decades of riding experience, and used to coach snowboard racing. You just might find it both helpful and fun. ink
  3. I can't wait to see some footage of them getting after it with you Ace! Stoked to pass this along to you and your boys. ink
  4. Wow! I haven't seen Ray Pesho since that session as there was overlap with the Pureboarding sesh and SES. Ray and I used to race together along with the rest of the Ohio Traveling Freak Show (OTFS) in the early '90s. Fun and funny times. ink
  5. From the pics on IG, looks like a great time was had. ink
  6. Looking further ahead helps. Eyes see it well ahead, sends signals to brain/body. By the time you reach that point all systems know what to do. Thought you learned that you should spend more time with the LCI and in CO. ink
  7. Nick first did this last year in a skating rink with hockey gear on. It in his IG as well. I've never been on harder ice than lake ice in the middle of winter and can confirm the ice Nick carved on is bulletproof. I was just out on the Georgetown lake watching my son ice race his car. Nice edge hold @Termin8tor ink
  8. This ^^^, but I iron it in to those 2" at the beginning of the season and maybe one other time to prevent base burn. Wax wizard whatever temp is needed throughout the season. Love my Hot Rod race waxes but no longer available. Thankfully the LCI has a good stash between us all. Dominator, Swix, Toko and Holmenkol all make really good waxes and quite a few folks like OneBallJay. @Corey get something for warm temp in the spring and brush it out so the structure opens up. You will appreciate the results at the world champ spring slush slalom event. ink

  12. Great old school pic. I had that burton and redid the graphics to be black with a flourescent green palm tree down the length of it. Wish I still had that one. ink
  13. Sounds like that will be the time to make another appearance in CO to ride the gear you have. Spending on travel to use what you have is better than attaining more wall decorations. ink

  20. Always knew Stevie had it in him, when I was his coach, till his BX accident. So stoked for him to get to this level after all he has been through. Cody is crushing in Alpine and BX and I love seeing that too. Seeing him take down Big Benny was a highlight for me. Good luck everyone! ink
