Get out there and sweep it yourself. My son and I used to sweep hills for him to longboard DH in the spring before the sweepers came through. Like building trails, "No dig, No ride", just switch dig to sweep. You got this buttercup

Can't really use Odd Job as reference to anything boot/foot wise. His feet look like they were drawn by a 1st or 2nd grader. Club feet.
I think they may have been bound like a geisha when he was a wee lil odd job.

If sticking with those binders and worried about it happening again, drill a hole in the plastic lever and put a cord through it long enough to go under your toe buckle on your boot. You'll have to undo it to get out and redo it at the top but you'll have peace of mind while riding.

fyi... old racer trick when bindings weren't so good.
I 70 had been closed for a couple hours when bigs called to say he was going back to bed. I did the same as I didn't want to be "that guy" in a fwd car.
Bummed though since it looked like some fun snow to play in.
