  1. I think maybe your boards are not visible due to their tiny size. I rode up Vista 4 times watching the line for Cascade grow. You have much more patience than I do.
  2. I thought Northern Idaho was a no fly zone, or are the compounds camouflaged really well? I'm assuming these boards have functional cup holders?
  3. I would be willing to lead a beginner/intermediate clinic. I've done something like that before. I don't know what their policies on that are, so we might as well invite the ski school as well.
  4. I'll be a day late but still there for 5 days. 3 days on Liftopia for $146 and Dan's deal for $109. That leaves some extra for Sandpoint Schwag.
  5. Tuesday or Friday depending on how it looks. I'll be the other guy on hard boots.
  6. I voted for the 23rd-27th and realized that I probably shouldn't have voted, because either week works for me. I just need to block out the time before my wife beats me to it, that's how I missed out on going last year. I've only been there in spring slush, so I'm giddy either way.
  7. I wish i knew how to add a poll to the beginning of this thread. 23-27 or 30-3? I think one of you locals should make an executive decision.
  8. I don't know, I've been around the NW a bit, and eaten more than my share of snow. BTW Jim has no intern, he is the only one running the show right now. Try messaging Bryan Sutherland, he might have a secret contact line. If you get a hold of either of them let them know the post counter isn't working on the site.
  9. 23-27th. Let's make it so. I need to book this before my wife schedules any work events that week. This is only a little over two months away.
  10. I count 4 people. Enough for an event, but not enough for a convention. I'm still in.
  11. This one is in English. High quality, reasonable price. Ships from Oregon. https://the-raceplace.com/collections/beast-tuning-tools
  12. You might want to try these guys http://hopworksbeer.com multiple brewery locations, bike oriented. There is also an online art sales website (I can't remember the name), kind of like eBay for artwork. You could also contact these guys http://www.lowrider.com/brand/lowrider-bike-magazine/ they are really into Stingrays and might have some ideas.
  13. We don't need no stinkin' resort approval! A week in Sandpoint will still cost a third of a week in Aspen. Plus, I can drive there in a day. I want to be part of a group making trenches that are dangerous to others. Let's just pick a week and make it happen. They aren't going to take my weed and turn me around at the boarder this time!
  14. RooX, I tried to respond to your PM but it got rejected. To answer your question, I'll do $125 if you pick up. I think there are only 4 or 5 days on them.
  15. I've got a pair of Deluxe Spa's in a 27.5 with just a few days on them. They were manufactured as a women's boot, not sure why but I bet Bryan knows.
  16. I may be able to swing a NICE this year as well, especially since I'm at home with the kids right now while my wife is sampling wine in Sonoma. Kram, what's the word?
  17. I know, I lived upstairs for a winter. Snorting Elk is the bar, Alpine Inn is the hotel. We used to hang our groceries out the windows in mesh bags to keep them cold. Then after about a month they decided that looked trashy and bought us mini fridges.
  18. I looked into a lot of braces and they all seemed too restrictive coupled with a ski jacket and mitts. Having had both shoulders surgically repaired, I would suggest: Do all of the P.T. you can and then, when you are released from P.T., keep doing it at home. Don't try to land a big air wake boarding, you can pull your shoulder out of the socket after surgery. It hurts a lot when it won't go back into place.
  19. Three car camping in a snowy parking lot tales: In my new car at Crystal Mtn. WA, woken up at 6:30 AM by the sound of the snow thrower starting up and chewing into a snow bank. Followed soon after by the sound of a torrential downpour of slush, mud and rocks on top of my new car. Mtn. High/Snow Summit CA (can't remember which one), waking up every so often to move my car back to the high end of the lot. Freezing rain had made the lot a skating rink and high winds kept pushing my car downhill towards the drop off with no guard rail. Timberline, OR, about 3AM in a snow storm, the back end of my car lifts off the ground. I get out to a startled tow truck driver who says I'm parked illegally. he unhooks and takes off. I check with management the next day to find that I was parked legally and the tow truck driver was probably just trying to steal my car. I stay in hotels now.
  20. You should post the name of the shop so everyone knows to stay clear. You obviously won't be giving them any more business.
  21. I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Bend, OR. 6 month ski season & 300 plus days of sun. Maybe there are too many retired people there already.
  22. Timberline forecast today, 6-10". Reopening tomorrow?
  23. http://skateslate.tv/2016/05/11/derek-rabelo-blind-downhill-skateboarder-maryhill-festival-of-speed-2015/ Blind downhill, with a wreck at 2:50. I'm humbled.
