  1. I'm heading to Timberline tomorrow, there is supposed to be an inch or two of new. I just found out the 2nd annual Nitro "Turning and Burning" limbo fest is happening Saturday, May 26th. I can't seem to post the link.
  2. I was with you up until this point. Maybe you should put down the Titanal crack pipe?
  3. That would depend on which combination of hallucinogens you took. You have taken the right combination.
  4. I stand corrected, Meadows will be open the first 2 weekends in May.
  5. Good coverage. Meadows closes in two weeks. Which leaves Timberline or Bachelor in May.
  6. Can you post a pic of the performance enhancing blue sidewalls?
  7. Riders On the Storm! My gear should be dry enough by tomorrow for one more day. I think the rain made me Thirsty.
  8. Ticket office opens at 8:30. Lifts roll at 9. See you there.
  9. Yes, I think Mark is sending some and then bringing some when he comes down as well. The parking lot is a pretty good walk from the lifts, so getting the demo set up the day before you want to ride might be easier. Text me when you get into town and we'll figure something out. Yay. Looking forward to it Mike. I also invited Rick from Silipint.
  10. I have a pair of Deeluxe Spa in a 27 that have about 4 days on them. They were marketed as a women's boot, I believe the shell is just slightly shorter than the standard. They seem plenty stiff. I would sell for $100 if you want. I can bring them to Bend and you can try them to see if they fit, or you can pick them up in West Linn before the trip. I'll have an extra set of bindings (not for sale) and between Dane and myself, we should have enough boards for you to ride. PM me.
  11. Yeah, it's actually posted in the main forum. The moderators never moved the ATC 2018 thread so I just posted there instead of the ride board. 4/3-4/7 and we'll have some demos. Let me know and I can maybe bring one by the day before you want to ride it.
  12. They are calling for rain and snow tonight and tomorrow, turning to 3-5" on Friday. There is a dispensary down the road in Rhododendron, but you need an Oregon or Washington license. They know better that to trust inland people.
  13. I just confirmed, once you buy your spring pass take the confirmation number and your ID inside the guest services building in the main parking lot. They will take your picture and print your pass. After that, maybe the rest of the days, the easiest access to the lift is to park in the Skyliner lot. There are no services/bathrooms there but you can get to the lift and back to your car a lot quicker.
  14. I don't know why I didn't think about this earlier but I'm going to start carrying an airhorn for occasions such as this. Maybe it would help with the people who get off the chair and stand in front of the "Clear Unload Area" sign as well. Oh, and the bro brah's standing in line on the tail of my board. I'm not kidding, I'll really do it.
  15. Corey, You are trying too hard. No need to load the nose due to the construction of these boards. Just unweight more between the turns and bend it more right in the middle to tighten up the turns. There seems to be less need for for/aft shifting on the Thirst boards. It took me a little while to get used to them. But now, me love them long time.

    First time

Get the boots, board and bindings will follow. Come to Mt. Bachelor in 3 weeks, there will be extra boards and bindings and people to ride with.
  17. https://www.restorepdx.com/platelet-rich-plasma-prp-therapy/ PRP injections. My wife is having her knee, ankle and back done next week. I had so much sciatic pain last fall that I couldn't sleep. Had injections in my back, no more pain. White blood cells regenerate the damaged tissue. I also believe that a healthy dose of CBD/THC helps with recovery. There are some great topical lotions.
  18. 3 weeks to go! What happened to all of the Cali people and the Reno crew? Don't miss your chance to ride with the Idaho All-Stars. No cover, all edges welcome.
  19. I rode with him (Grant) a couple of years ago. He was railing turns on some slalom skis and then switched to an older carving board and was railing just as hard on that.
  20. There are some really good VRBO deals that week. I just did a search and found a 4 bed home with hot tub, gas grille, bikes, passes to the pool/rec center and a canoe in Sunriver for $160 a night. I found a nicer place without the bikes and grille for $132. Pretty sure that might be a little cheaper than Aspen. Check the link to one of my favorite places in Bend, classic arcade games, pinball, beer, $5 per hour or $10 unlimited play. Oh and there is no sales tax in Oregon. http://vectorvolcanoarcade.com/games.html
  21. I'm actually meeting someone at Meadows around 10 tomorrow who wants some instruction. So I guess I'll see you there.
  22. Don't forget your chest protection.
  23. I didn't realize that the spring passes start that week, what a deal. So if you buy the pass and ride all 5 days that comes to $40 a day. If you stay in Sunriver, you will want a car to get to the grocery store and the mountain (20 minute drive). If you stay in Bend there is a shuttle for 9$ a day. I will be driving and can give a ride to up to two people as well. I don't know where I'm staying yet, but I know since it is the week after spring break prices drop dramatically. If you have lunch at the mountain, you can walk across the main lot to the Nordic center. They have much better food and prices than the Alpine lodges. Bring a board lock, it's not Idaho. Oh, and the base is up to 104" now.
  24. Base is up to 95" and still coming down. You can get a house in Sunriver that sleeps 6 for $120. Aspen is over rated! There I said it. Who's in? Who wants to demo a Thirst board? For free
