Thanks Bryan... Troy - My review of the Nirvana is "What everyone else has already said is accurate..." AND I will post a complete review of the 'Promad' 179 in the reviews section in a few days, as I got in about five really good full days on it and it deserves a pretty comprehensive perspective...

Thanks Bruce, for your encouragement, advice, and expertise. Thanks Justin, for working with me on the most amazing topsheet I have ever seen.

Its a smooth, responsive, and stable ride. I can make big turns and short quick ones... well, as fast as my 6'6" 210 lbs frame can twist it. We (the board and I) are still figuring each other out. She aims to please. She is determined and dedicated to my every command... with that said, a few times I have over steered her and she followed suite, throwing me a bit. I apologized to her, admitted my fault and we took the next toe side turn a little bit gentler. This is the first board I have had made specific to my needs and stature. I wonder why it has taken me this long to get her. The riding is like... well, "Nirvana"

"Bruce, got board, it's amazing, you're a god!"

This is a Stubby v2.0. I'm told it is only the 3rd one of its kind. Met Bruce at ECES, tried the board, and received it 2 weeks later! This was my first time working with Bruce and i was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge, patience, willingness to help and give advice, and of course the quality of the board. Tried it over the last 2 weekends and it is the board of my dreams!

Thank you Bruce!

Very nice. What makes this a v2.0? The change to a VSR sidecut? Any flex or materials changes?

Correct the v1 which I own has a fixed 14m radius, Bruce softened up the nose a tad on the v2. I rode the v2 at the ECES, I did notice the softer nose, it turns in faster than the v1.

Took delivery of my new "Short Board". Mike's custom build includes the TNT (Split Tip N Tail Design) along with the newest version of carbon Snow Stix. Carbon top layer, UPM and 4x4 patterns.

Narrow, stiff and a full Tinkler System board!! Looking forward to getting the plate set up on it and get some turns in on it. I did get to ride a similar board Mike built for himself a couple weeks ago and it was pretty sweet. Bryan

Running Lenght: 154.4cm

Tip Width: 23.4cm

Waist Width:18.4cm

Tail Width: 23.4cm

SCR: 11-13 M Progressive.

Thanks Matt, I too am anxious to give it a go, it has been a long time coming!!

Here are a couple photos of it with a previously used Tinkler plate (not his newest design).

I did get a chance to ride his which is the same shape and specs, just a slightly different core configuration and layer components. It was really good once I "Reset" for the smaller SCR.

My "Go To" board is basically a larger version of this shape (185cm , progressive sidecut, narrow , TNT , beefy).

We call it the "Aris" as it was built for him originally, turned out to be my favorite all around carver.
