Miss "Marion" arrived today with her sweet red lips and dark, very dark heart..Shown here with her inspiration (and Bruce's) an original Madd 170 She is the first production deck of the Angryy 170. Thanks to Bruce for his impeccable work and patience, and to Mike to prototype evaluations. The top sheet artwork and logo I put together drawing from personal inspiration(s). She has quite a presence to her, may be my own undoing on the mountain...

Yes it's Faux Fiber, not having a full graphics program made sizing it, vs. the mounting hole locations a bit of guesswork. I would have lliked for the entire image to have come "down" a bit on the layup. Overall I think it'l' look just fine with bindings. All of Bruce's magic lies underneath!

Stephane the board is very cool. Would love to try one of the Nirvana boards. Al, your Angrry is super sweet. Kieran, if I thought I could ride a board with a big scr I'd love one of the Asym boards, they look so rad.

I cheated on Bruce this year (but the year's not over....)

Two new whips this year for me, custom 183 Oxess based on the XR178 but cust flex pattern and shape, 20 cm waist extra inserts, centered stance. 11.5 m scr

And the Virus Vampire (new to me anyway, thanks again Mat) If the board rides half as good as it looks we'll be good

Sorry for the crappy pic

asymmetry aside, i think it's actually similar in shape to your oxess.

it's considerably stiffer than the other GS board i have though, which was me a little itty bitty concerned. and it has huge camber. bring on the snow fences!

Board on the far right is a Coiler "Carbomonster" same spec as Shred's Plankenschtien but a full carbon topsheet, and squarer nose. Yeah crazy edghold for sure. Bruce's boarsd are sooo good. He made one for Cuban too that was pretty similar. They sounded VERY labour intensive as the carbon is super thin from what I reaclled when he made it.

Kerian, whats the SCR on the asym? For a 183 the 11.5 on the Oxess is pretty small but they're so easy to turn, I love that about longer boards.

comparing it to some other boards i have aroudn here, i'd say somewhere around the 16m mark. i thought the XC oxess' were mostly gs shape?

speaking of oxess, did anyone ever see an action video of the xx235 that was posted up last year?

That is a VERY impressive quiver Kurt!! WOW!

Thx Bry, I love just looking at them let alone how much I enjoy riding them. Just waiting on a 4mm lite plate and I "think" I'm good for this year....

K

Kerian, my board is based off the "XR" platform just wider for the most part. They are def more carve inspired. The Apex I had has a 16 m scr and a board with that length SCR just seems less intuitive maybe for what I look for in a board. Once it started to turn and I leand on it, no question you could bring it around in a hurry, smaller SCR boards just seem easier at slower speeds to initiate turns.

I'd like to see the video you speak of. got a link by chance?
