If anyone is going to buy a Donek the carbonium topsheet is a winner. Hurry up winter. That sir, is a very cool topsheet. It looks like you stole it off a spaceship :P

Algunderfoot
Any of you attending the SES last Februrary most likely heard of Bruce's dream and the thus his next creation...actually a re-creation. Knowing the R & D process would take a while, as would my recovery, what better way to add some motivation for my two primary (two remaining) sports, a not quite new Goode 9800 slalom ski, and the 1st production model of Bruce's dream. Being incapacitated for several weeks allowed me to fiddle around with the topsheet art, get some input from friends on how to go about that, since I'm a 'analog' artist, while paying some tribute to the original inspiration, one of which I also own. So this is a teaser as the board is just now being built and my topsheet art was sent to Bruce last week. While I am truely enjoying the process (slow process) of getting back into water skiing, Winter can start the minute "Marian" shows up at my office. Bruce built you an NSX golf cart with a slalom water ski graphic? I'm missing something...
Algunderfoot
Patience Gentlemen, I hope to show both the inspiration and the re-creation in the same post once I have the "new girl" Marian, in hand. Showing the artwork now would give the whole program away. No Corey, it's defiinately a board. golfing went away with the left shoulder in January. Mike T and Bruce both rode the prototype, built last Spring...to which they both "can't find a thing to complain about". This is ironic considering who I named the board after.....to be continued.... Ian M
^ I'm concerned, Stephane... you'll never know which board to ride!! My baby arrived yesterday, and the graphics look great! The text is a little darker than intended, but I like that it's super-subtle and you won't see it in motion, just up close. I can't say enough about how great it is to work with Bruce, and be able to do custom graphics, stiffness, and geometry. We are so lucky to have great custom builders in our niche sport. The stiffness feels bang on (stiffer than my previous 'ice board'), and I can already imagine the wicked fun I'm going to get up to on this machine XD Cheers!
