  3. Awww..what a beautiful pic of the dogs. Always sad to hear about a pet dying. The doggy spirit will watch over you.
  4. SLOMO has found a way to connect with Consciousness and knows it. Thanks for posting this. Coincidentally I've been reading a lot on Consciousness Slomo gets it ... consumerism along with other things and how they occupy the mind...preventing a state of 'divinty' as he called it..which I call Consciuosness...it was his way of getting there but you don't have to jack everything in to get the connection. It's based on vibrational energy. That's why I love the story of Slomo:D
  5. Heal quickly jdkuhnle and sorry to hear what happened. The upside is you'll still have sometime this season to practice after you're time out. I don't know much about all these alpine boards, plates etc but the board you was on, was it quite a flexible board or a stiff one? Also what were the snow conditions like...hard pack or spring like? Allee, thanks for your kind words. I certainly had a 'mackerel Slap'.....hahaha:lol: ...90% better now....still got stiffness in chest area on deep breathing but... ..had my first easy test run last Thursday(after almost 3 Weeks rest) then on Saturday on a black (softies, spring/powder snow):p I forgot to mention how people at work kept asking me if I was put off snowboarding...it didn't occur to me? I would have expected that question if I had broken a bone...I do find people odd at times:rolleyes:
  6. After a typical start to the Scottish snow season, the snow is building up and up to such an extent that one of the resorts Glencoe reported snow depth surpassing that of the 2009/2010 season. Glencoe now reports: 321cm*126" Location: Average of Main Basin & Happy Valley (approx 3500ft). Happy Valley: 200cm Main Basin: 442cm Last Measured: 13/01/14 Prev Avg: 291cm 05/1/2014 HV: 175cm MB: 406cmPrev Avg: 50cm 06/11/2013 HV: 60cm MB: 40cm* My local Glenshee is patchy in places, however, on some of the uplift tracks my head is almost touching the wheel at the top of the poma pylons. The snow has been dumping down overnight and today, with resorts shut due to very high wind. I'm off work for 2 Weeks. Happy days:biggthump
  7. :Soft booter of brilliance IMHO:biggthump Have had a slight addiction to his videos:cool: And he can carve:D Apologies I just realised this should be in video section. Can a Moderator move this please?
  8. Hahaha wavechaser even I recognized the phrase:p seems like your making positive moves instead of being on the hamster wheel. I must admit from your post I thought you were a lot younger. I am roughly same age as you. My last partner and I split about 5 years ago. My life's got better since..no lie:) a couple of people over the years have said to me: 'it's alright for you, you like your own company'. This was said by females who were over the split with an ex but hated being on their own. Like I've posted I can't help but make a serene bubble world that I live in. I don't need someone else to do that.anyway what else am I going to do.hahaha:p From another post on here about my DIY, that's how I've become good at it..no man around...hmmmmm...well get on with it yourself:biggthump wavechaser, I hope you create your own happy world...talking of which I am to finish getting ready and go snowboarding..yaay:biggthump
  9. I should not admit to this BUT... I have gone a bit retro and girl power...why? So as follows: Girls aloud, Chaka Khan, Beverly Knight and Toni Braxton. The last 3 are pretty normal for me but it's the Girls Aloud tha:biggthumpt surprises me
  10. Wavechaser, it is brilliant and it appears to be coming true:eek: you should have been President with that kind of foresight:cool: I think some recent figures were showing highest number of people ever on food stamps. to keep things on topic, did you write it as a poem to woo a lass:lol:
  11. Michelle, you are so right about the bacon sprinkles..I've not bought them before, however I do now and again fancy a bacon/lentil soup or sandwich where I suppose they are TVP rashers. Amazing coconut rashers and how coincidental, well I'll be looking out for them over here-thanks:) What a shame no one ate your master piece...it looked too good to eat- that was the problem:biggthump...I felt quite partial to a headstone myself:p
  12. Michelle I love the Halloween graveyard:biggthump...chocolate and coconut a great mix ...sometimes I make this combination as truffles..yum Ohd, I've been meaning to buy smoked paprika and yes you can buy bacon sprinkles that are vegan...on occasions I put vegan bacon into yellow split pea soup..this is a Scottish soup but obviously done with smokey bacon..quite delicious:) I hope the Vegans are still alive;) that would have been some shopping list and menu planning:eek:
  13. If we're talking yoga..can everyone here touch their toes (legs straight)..well it's a start:p... ...mikel45, while you're meditating (asleep) you can do yoga st the same time...I do this one...whilst lying on your back have one leg straight and relaxed whilst the other leg is bent into a kind of 'L' shape (knees together rest of leg put at a right angle)....after 5 minutes swap legs.... ...you may fall asleep at same time and when you wake up find yourself I'm excruciating pain but you'll be more flexible:biggthump Exclusions ~I take no responsibility for any harm, injury or loss resulting from the aforementioned instructions ~
  14. Wave chaser, sounds like your spirit was telling you to value yourself more hence the split. Without sounding rude in this case this is a positive relationship split. You can now re assess and move on up:) IanM perhaps you really can be Bomber's spirit guru maybe start a thread? Wow sounds like you really have got your life together and no money or show needed. I do my best to be guided by my intuition and I don't care what people think as most people I come across ate full of cr@p...sheeple...I just can't connect with those types....I know how to but I refuse to...as I see it add a waste of my energy that could be spent in my bubble yet serene world...and snowboarding it's very much part of that.;) Well I must say I don't feel so odd at all after having 'spoken' to you both:biggthum(as well as other Bomber members too) such a nice contrast to the people I'm surrounded with at work...time.to make a change in that direction perhaps:rolleyes: Anyway
  15. Hahaha...want expecting that pic...nice one:lol:
  16. Wavechaser that really is a sad thing to hear. I hope you're doing okay. Have you done anything nice for yourself,?you'll always have your boards and snow to see you through the ups and downs of life:) IanM, that is a lovely account. Quite an open account and from a Guy:eek: I was waiting for a punch line....hahaha...oh I don't mean to sound cheeky.... So you get the spiritual stuff....I didn't think in general people did. I wish you well in 2014.I'm quite interested in the spiritual issues in general ..you could be Bomber's spiritual coach:biggthump I know I've become too darn lazy to be in a relationship:rolleyes: I have for quite some time kept an impenetrable wall of steel surrounding me. I have a very calm and peaceful existence which I want to keep. Anyway its always good to hear about normal peoples' lives...haha...a living, changing novel...I'll get popcorn out:lurk:
  17. Well Valentine's day will soon be upon us...has anyone got any updates for this thread:biggthump

Brilliant EC ing Matti...some good camera shots in slow motion for an EC wannabe like me.. ..in fact one of the shots caused a few Pennies to drop..only once I can visualise can I attempt...I now think I have enough Pennies collected to give the heel side a go. Thanks:)
  19. Hahaha...I forgot I'd heard that before Can I join then..I'm on the EARLY side of 50 something....although I'm still learning to carve....part of my mid-life crisis stuff:p
  20. Mikel45 says: Benefits:*you save a ton of money on shampoo Hmmmm...aren't guys bald at that age:eplus2:
  21. This is an interesting topic loopback. I think its about time the Fed reserve and its like all over the world are brought down so as the masses of people stop getting ripped off. Will it be a hedge against inflation or fiat currency in the future, I don't have a clue.like others have said its early days and volatile. I love the idea of alternative currency but the Fed and their ilk no doubt will be worried and will be conjuring up a plan to create a loss of confidence in bitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised if the Fed is buying up the coins itself to have control. After all there is a limit I think 21million coins? Well the Fed (bank of England too) Does make money from NOTHING it could easily afford them..haha. Have you heard of: lite, feather and quark coins? It certainly a trend now these crypto currencies. I think quark coins mined all theirs in a 6 month period whereas with but coin you can still mine. Also Google and co have recently put millions of dollars into a cross currency exchange network called Ripple, this includes exchanging with bit coins. Google is CIA, is it not? So will those using their bitcoin lose anonymity using ripple? Bitcoin's popularity gives me hope that people are waking up and saying no to those that are doing their damndest to brain wash us for their benefit. still don't forget the time honoured gold and silver re inflation/fiat currency hedge..not in paper format though but in actual bullion and coins. There's some very interesting reading about the Fed's banking pals manipulating these metals because they've over leveraged on the paper exchanges, are now caught short and need the prices low to cover the positions and turn long....when they're long I don't doubt they'll manipulate the price up...with a bit of volatility to scare the little investors out. Bring on money by the people and for the people..... Just my 2 Bitcoins worth:D
  22. Wow what a list of injuries... ..congratulations on your recovery:biggthump
  23. Well i'm out of action for a wee bit.had the worst fall ever because I didn't do my usual reccie run. Chest took most impact, face slammed into snow.couldn't move for several minutes, blood gushing down face.thought I'd broken: nose, teeth and ribs but hey ho I got off lightly-none broken. Terrible breathing problems, feels like my lungs are bruised, difficulty walking for 2minutes or more due to pain on breathing. Tried to chop a carrot last week..oooh the pain in my chest. Much better now, off pain killers-just. Still doubt I can be on snow this week end either:-( Only myself to blame:freak3:
  24. Merry Christmas to all Bomber and Bomberettes:)
