SEJ
Randy, that thing is a beauty! I finally got up the nerve to build my own carving board this year. Sort of like yours but reversed. Maple and purple heart stringers with wenge inlay. She's awesome to look at. Can't wait to see how she works.

SEJ
I'll need to take one. It's pretty stiff, not much camber. Actually I built it for Gretchen.

Randy T.
That's too funny Boris! I did not have any input on the design though, this is the new look for all the boards. And it has the standard width. Scott, that is a sweet board but I don't think Gretchen is going to be able to flex it.
Mike T
I've dropped 42 pounds (at 198 right now) since last season so hopefully I can still flex all my boards! Big-time congrats Randy! I lost a bunch of weight before last season, and quickly realized that "bad weight" doesn't help one bend a board anywhere near as much as "good weight" does. If your route to weight loss involved strength or cardio training, you may be pleasantly surprised at how supple your boards feel :) Happy holidays! inkaholic
Santa came in the form of D.T. and Bola for KarverKai this year. They got KK the Virus Avalanche FR 130 for his new all mtn board. Riding on top of the Avalanche FR are Micro Flows and Burton Moto 1 boots. This will reside next to the Virus Rookie 99, in the quiver, which now sports a set of NOS Burton JR plates to use with new to KK Salomon T2 boots. KK can't wait to thank you two in person. Thanks again to Dusty Bottle for the early Christmas present, the Burton JR bindings. Ink

Miltie
My new custom widened 167 Ax arrived. Waist is 23.5 cm with glass construction but VSR/decambered nose/tail from Metal Ax. Will be running Bomber Power Plates on this with soft bindings (small feet). Plan to try a plate on this too so I had Sean build it with UPM inserts. Hoping we get some snow soon! big canuck
Plankenschtein version three on the juice. Just got this today and mounted it with a 4mm BP and new TD3 si. 188, 23 cm waist, 13/16m scr Question for people with Boiler plates, the stance width is maxing out the Boiler plates width capacity.... I set the base plates as wide as they would go, tightened them down, tightened down the philips head screws that hold the front dowel (whats it called), put the plate on, tightened it down with the 4 bolts and snugged up the two side 4 mm allen bolts... Thats it right? There is no other way it would mount with the spread of my inserts (which is fine) just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.. Second board, Donek, 165 identical to Nurse Ben's but with a Bamboo core. Ben I hope you see that me replicating the board is a form of flattery, I thought it was the coolest!!! I've ridden it a couple 1/2 days, and its very fun. Want to say special thanks to Bruce at Coiler and Shred Grummer for coming up with the crazy boards i get. Sorry the pictures do not even come close to doing these boards justice. They are over the top.
