www.oldsnowboards.com
In the past couple weeks I have recieved perhaps a dozen emails from bomber members with hacked email accounts. ??? The usual links to out of the country pharmacies or other junk links. Anyone else notice a marked increase? What is up? PS. If you are hacked. Do me a favor, do NOT include my email address in an announcement email with your entire address booked "cc'd". This is a VERY bad idea. Either send them blind carbon copy, singularly or not at all. We all know by now your email has been comprimised.
tex1230
haven't seen any myself, but as a matter of courtesy, any email with more than three adressees should be BCC. (unless you have a specific reason to share who is in the conversation)

Most have been either hotmail, yahoo or gmail which covers allot of territory. :(

Seraph
Is it from the actual account or is the email address spoofed?
queequeg
Sorry guys ... just ... you know ... trying to get my internet pharmacy business off the ground.
RideGuy
I too have been getting these allot lately. I'm positive they are not being sent by the "sender". They are being spoofed by one person that happens to have your friends in their address book. Probably cause by a virus.
teach
I've been getting these to several email accounts for the past several weeks. I think it's just some malware some people's computers get, nothing to do with this forum. I have not gotten any from BOL members.
LeeW
Yeah, I've been getting several spam emails from one guy from here -- Snowman. I've tried to get a hold of him, and no luck so far, to let him know about his email.

bobdea
got one from ace, that's it so far
www.oldsnowboards.com
same here Snowman is aware. He has made changes to prevent it. So far I have had six BOL members email accounts send spam. A few not on BOL. May be just that most of my email these days comes from BOL members? Just noticed a very steep up tick in hacked accounts this past week or so.
Kimo
Since I switched to gmail, I almost never receive spam/hacked email. They must have the best filters.
Allee
I'm with Kimo. I got so pi$$ed at my Hotmail being hacked that I gave up on it, and got a gmail account. Over a year so far, and hasn't been hacked once.
skatha
Sorry guys ... just ... you know ... trying to get my internet pharmacy business off the ground. LOL! I find myself increasingly only opening emails from a very select number of people. Saves virus exposure....

Michelle
I've gotten them too from a few members. But I've also gotten them from other people as well. I don't open anything that looks suspicious in an email.
