I haven't seen Crank, but the worst I have seen is Ultraviolet. Even with my brain turned off, it sucked. It was so bad it wasn't worth it for Milla Jovovich. Gun Kata, WTF. Bad story, bad plot, bad action, bad movie.
I got a A720IS before Christmas, but it has not been ported to it yet because the OS is not the same. Can't wait to see if they can do it so I can shoot RAW.
I never had any snow in my Burton Furnace boots. They do have a kind of rubber seal at the front of the overlap to prevent this. Do your boots have one?
From what I have been told, stay away from Shark's. The only one that I know of are Jacques Bouchard in Québec or the Startinggate in the US. Other than that, do it yourself with yyzcanuck's guide. bartron told me that it worked quite well for him.
I dreaming of getting a recumbent, even thinking of making one myself (I'm in mechnical engineering). But for now, space is limited, I already have 3 bikes and I'm not shure I can pay 1500-2000$ for one right now. I rode a couple of recumbents and I really got hooked. Like they say, the first one's free, then you have to pay.
The Reactors are among the stiffest snowboard specific boots. As for bindings, the TD2 are stiff, but you can tune the shock absorbtion with the elastomers and the suspension kit.
I never tried SnowPros, but I rode some Burton Performance (similar construction) for 8 years with Burton Furnace boots (identical to Reactors) without any breakage at 170-180 lbs. But I don't ride as aggressively as others here though.
I am the most tree hugger person here, but trees need to be cut if they are sick or trimmed if they are injured. I always find it sad to see a tree cut down, but sometimes it's for a good reason.
Hope your leg gets better D.
Glad I could be of any help.
Honestly, redia writing is filled with awful mistakes, it was hard for me to understand some bits (and french is my main language), but I don't know if it's out of negligence or lack of ability for writing.
redia: désolé, mais c'est la vérité, il y a énormément de fautes assez graves dans ton écriture.
Redia's message translated:
It's true that Bruce is HOT.
He made me a 173 x 22 x 13.2 board with which I'm able to lay down in the turns, that is easy to ride and that has a fantastic edge hold.
I have a F2 177 x 19.2 x 15, it's a very good board but is not as versatile as my metal Coiler because I can do 8m turns with the 13.2m radius without effort with it.
So I say congratulations to Bruce.
Volkl plates are OEM from SnoPro. The ones from 3-4 years ago were the Race LTD model and the latest ones are the Force model, cheaper. Have a look at Volkl website to see.
