  1. I'm sure someone is already thinking about buying that intellectual property (and maybe tooling). Who could? Obviously, Bomber could, but I don't know hw much these type of things go for and how much it would represent for Bomber. Catek could, same issue. My best guess would be Head or Deeluxe.
  2. Is that a bike rack? Very nice and original. More cities should do that!
  3. Canting At The End of Knowledge
  4. Bombers On Metal Boards [=] Expensive Rig
  5. As a matter of fact, I do! We are presently in transition from other software (Geomax for older systems, AutoCAD on newer systems) to Smallworld. We have to do all the printing layouts for the maps.
  6. Maybe more stacked cant disks to get infinite adjustability, like the Burton adjustable cant, but made out of aluminium and better implemented.
  7. Wishlist: Less people on the slopes Board with waxless base Is this realizable? Yes, my new job is 4 days/week, so I will be able to board on a weekday! Unlikely for now, the only that I know of is made by Virus and it is worth more than all my snowboard stuff put together.

    Carver Education

I have technical degree in mechanical engineering, but I don't work in that field for now, I draw powerline maps.
  9. I studied in mechanical engineering, but I work at my province's electricity provider creating and updating electrical distribution line maps.
  10. My season was the worst ever! I snowboarded... 1 evening! I lost my motivation for snowboarding because I hate evening conditions and weekend crowds. Next year should be better, I got a new job where I work 4 days a week and my work place is about 15 minutes from a (small) ski hill (that's opened on evenings).
  11. That board is my dream board, maybe built a little too stiff for me. Can't go for it, unjustifiable for now as I have boarded once this year and 3 times last year. Good luck for your sale, that shouldn't be hard for that kind of board at this price.
  12. At least I'm still on the first page. I didn't board much in the last 2 seasons and don't post much either...:(
  13. DLP: digital light processing I think it would defy the principle to leave it turned on. Hydro-Québec (Québec's electricity provider) is even turning off (symbolically) the huge sign on its downtown building.

    shops...

Vel'Aube is at walking distance from my apartment and Cycle Régis is not too far also. They sell factory direct also, I don't know if they ship though.
  15. The thread locker I used is Lepage Perma-Lok, it's blue and very liquid, but it doesn't say more on the bottle.
  16. I'll check the kind of locktite that I used, it may be different. And for the disks, they went in the trash a long time ago, but I posted a picture here (in the old forum) 5-6 years ago.
  17. Quick link for the Coil: http://derf.dyndns.org/~derf/gallery/snowboard_Burton_2000/Coil
  18. I used locktite once on the screws of Burton bindings, and it disolved the disks. It's not a joke.
  19. The steepest groomed I know is Dynamite in Tremblant. It's short and gets icy pretty fast. It's around 40 degrees I think.
  20. For the 2 years Burton made the Furnace, the shell shape was identical to the Reactors, but the shell material was different (less affected by temperature I think). Andy, I'm surprised that you find them too soft as they are know to be among the stiffest snowboard boots.
  21. Intec heels won't fit on those boots as they are too old.
  22. The board is 1993 Burton Air 5.1, not the Craig Kelly model. It is the first year Burton had the 3D inserts. The bindings are probably from the year before as they are not 3D compatible. I have the same board in the 6.1 model and it's a real noodle, probably because it's too old. I'm sorry to say, but you overpaid for it. I think it was in the Eastern Townships, not too far from the Vermont factory. I'd have to search to get a more specific answer.
