  1. My summer ride: 2010 Volkl Aura's ... one sick pair of skis!!! :-P Sorry I haven't been online in like... a year - I became a ski instructor at Northstar in Tahoe and now I'm in South America. Today I was skiing at Cerro Catedral, Argentina with SASS (South America Snow Sessions - the new people I work for) and we had so much nice powder it was amazing!!! I'll be here for 2 months and I already checked out Valle Nevado and Cerro Bayo. After the season I am hoping to make it to Las Leñas, Portillo, El Colorado, and La Parva before heading back to the States end of September!! If anyone is interested in coming down send me a PM! Also if you have suggestions for amazing places to go!!
  2. I'm dating somebody else in ski school. No clue if its going to last. My Level I Examiner and Level II clinician/coach just got engaged to a girl I think he met through ski school two years ago. Maybe it just depends on where you work.
  3. You could try to work for redbull too. They put on huge events including in Brazil during the summer. I'm in a similar position as you but I will probably ski bum in Lake Tahoe this winter and bartend until then.
  4. Awww thanks guys :-) I'm at home in Reno right now and Sunday we finish the trip to the Sonoma County coast. I have no clue what I am doing jobwise though... or even where. I will be a ski instructor to get it out of my system and make sure I don't regret it later on. It's the only thing I've known I needed to do since I was seven.
  5. I'm moving to Reno. I graduated on the 18th, and left from Boston on the 23rd (last Friday). So far my cactus and I have been to Niagara Falls, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, and Salt Lake City. Favorites of the trip: -South Dakota/Wyoming area [rt 16 by Mt. Rushmore] we saw wild mustangs galloping right next to our road -Saw a Bison just east of Yellowstone chewing grass on the side of the road -My car almost got hit by a tumbleweed crossing the salt flats from Salt Lake City to Wendover (where I am now- border of Utah and Nevada) Cool Photos: -I got one of my cactus on my skateboard under the Montana state sign this morning -amazing sunset over Lake Michigan from Portage, Indiana with a view of Chicago Rest of the trip: tomorrow get to Reno, Sat rest/walk around Tahoe area, Sun Sonoma County drive/Redwoods/beach sunset with friends from grade school and my first college, Mon San Francisco and send off my road trip companion back to Boston Yeah.... life can be hard sometimes
  6. phallus fight!!! :-) I've had my own run-ins with Dave(?) but I still want to really meet him and snowboard with him sometime (as Bob knows)
  7. -So Tonja, How was your graduation? -It was good. I watched a midgit flip
  8. My Mexico trip a month ago involved my friend getting plastered in front of my family so much that he ate his food with his hands, left his fork in is steak, and wanted to eat the light on the way to his room. I think we want to hear about Mexico
  9. a) We all have SO's that we like b) all confusion over the opposite sex has vanished c) internet paranoia d) loss of fingers e) loss of internet? f) maturity away from rants and raves Pick one or add some!
  10. My last final/essays are due in four days/May second for my BA.
  11. Student yay!!! What about snow bum? Broke traveler?
  12. .. could be a good idea. The statistic that most gun injuries occur from your own guns, and upon owning a gun your statistical chances of getting injured by one go up.... are those just US American or universal?
  13. There's another story where the robber also wanted some alcohol, and the guy behind the counter asked him for his ID to see if he was over 21. Another more recent one where the robber accidentally left his kid in the store.
  14. I'm actually trying to work on that. I haven't quite figured out how.... but it will be done!! Ask Bob
