I ride my old beat up Trek 830 with well worn mountain bike tires. I tried slicks once in the winter and I said to myself "never again". I thought about wearing my snowboard helmet instead fo my bike helmet with a tuque underneath, but I'm not sure if it's good for this, I guess I'll write to Giro to find out.

I'm addicted to Facebook too. Good for finding old lost buddies, good for knowing about some event and some groups. Maybe we could start a BomberOnline Facebook group?

We all know what everybody does in the winter here: snowboard! But are there any other who use their bicycle during the winter? I like it for shorter commutes in my neighborhood (<5km). I biked to work (13km) Thursday because my car was in the shop and it was a little hard and tiring, but an interesting experience, especially since it was -15C outside.

I don't have that year's catalog, but I suspect 2001 Factory Prime. 2002 only had the speed and I think it's with the blood splatter and 2003 is black with some colored wood or something like that.

I'm trying to follow the thread, but it's hard with all the replies. I'm wondering why no one has tried to poach with a split board? Take the chairlift with the board in ski mode. Get off the lift, go a couple of meters away, change to snowboard, go down the hill, before getting to the bottom, change to ski mode, go to the chairlift, go up again. Do it nough to get some footage, I'm sure it can get tiring after a while to do this.

Check out other stores than Sports Experts: -Obsession -Oberson -Bernard Trottier -Yéti -... There are tons out there just waiting to sell you a helmet. Don't buy a helmet that doesn't fit, period.

Change model, don't get a helmet for which you aren't sur about the fit. Try different model from the same and different companies. I have a Giro Nine.9. Giro bike helmet don't fit me. I tried the Giro Fuse, it didn't fit, but the Nine.9 did. So if one helmet from a company doesn't fit, maybe another will. Try as many as necessary, your can't put a price on your head.

My "one board to ule them" all would be a Coiler AMX 169 - 19 cm wide. I don't ride long board, no place here and I don't ride enough in a year to master it properly, and I didn't like my experience with a wider board, so a narrow AM shape with easy carving flex would fit my bill, but YMMV.

Pas de passe pour moi, j'ai ridé 3 fois l'année dernière, je vais essayer de faire plus cette année, mais pas assez pour une passe. Bromont semble bien, mais la seule fois que je suis allé, c'était dans la neige folle.

The original was VHS. I know it was in PAL, I don't know if it was published to NTSC. The rip most commonly found is MPEG 1 (VCD) and the quality is so-so.
