1. Spring cleaning. - F2 Intec Step-ins (L) - Great shape. $125 shipped. - APO 174 Source - Good luck finding specs on this board. Picked it up at Salty Peaks last year so it has a dozen or so days on it. My guess is 26cm waist and 900-100 sidecut radius. Way fun in soft snow but holds as well as my lib tech litigator. If you want something bog, but not too big with camber, give this a go. I snagged a soft boot Donek so I'm letting this go for $150 shipped. - Lib Tech Darker 164 wide - Magnetraction, c3 BTX camber dominant banana profile, stiff enough and has some sort of riser pads built in. I bought this from someone that used it twice and thought it was too big. I rode it twice to see what all the bells and whistles are like for a fancy new board. It's fun and the magnetraction grabs well if you start slipping. I would keep this if not for the Donek, which is stiffer and has slightly more edge lenght. Want something that was built last year and is a little differnt? $300 shipped. All the prices include shipping in the US. I'm battling the crowds at the local mountain over this long weekend so I'll have pictures posted soon. Let me know if you are interested. I'll be at Jay Peak the second week of Feb. if you want to pick it up. Or, you can come out to Long Island. pmorita at hotmail dot com.
2. Here is a closeup of the spec sticker. 9M with a 26.4cm waist.
3. I picked up this brand new Lib Litigator, mounted bindings, jumped around the living room and never had a chance to take it to the mountian. I have always been a fan since moving through the Emma Peel, Emmagator, Litigator and Grocer and bought this out of nostalga. I'm never going to use it as I have kids riding tiny Burton Choppers and get out on my Coiler when allowed by the wife so this board is up for grabs. Some surface rust on the edges that will probably disapper after the first run and a strange discoloration on the base as seen in the photo where it looks like a sticker originally sat. $200 shipped in the US or picked up in 11561. Feel free to ping at pmorita at hotmail dot com.
4. Nice board. If the bindings are mediums, would you take $250 shipped to NY? I am trying to get my wife interested. Thanks
5. Out of curiosity, what weight range? Thanks
6. Hi, Sounds like a good summer deal. How much total to ship to 11561? Thanks
7. Hi, I'm in Long Beach, 11561. Thanks
8. As for the sizing question, I wear a medium pro-tec (55cm head) and just picked up M-L for myself and a kids helmet for my six year old. I'm suprised that I can fit into the kids helmet, but it's snug and the face mask hits my mouth. If I had to do it again, I would pick up the medium for myself. My large is solid green, not white or black. It was made custom for the Mt. Dew tour. Not as star warzy as the others. It was used one week and is the larger size. If anyone wants it for $150, let me know and I'll get the smaller size. My kids love the look by the way. Hope we don't get spit on from the chairlift.
9. Headed up to Hunter this weekend to close out the season. Guessing it's too soft and mashed potatoey with the rain and warm weather to make hard booting worth while. Anyone have any more current status or conditions?
10. Hey Sandman, I'm headed up to Windham Saturday morning to carve some turns in the rain. Problaby switching to soft boots around lunch so if you are there in the morning it would be great to meet. Pierre
11. I'll take the 0 degree pair if they are still available. Let me know. Thanks.
12. Stopped at the side of the trail to wait for my wife who rides softies. 60+ year old ski ambassador guy, fully equipped with walkie talkie, stops next to me and just stares at my feet. I said hello and he said he has to try carving. Melted my heart as I'm sure that this was the type of guy that used to spit at us off the chairlift in the early 80s. Spoke like old friends and parted ways.
13. Like the thread. I'm jumping in to add another old guy perspective. Bought a demo Nirvana from Bruce last year. Think it is the Energy 174 that he had at a prior ECES. Not sure of much more, but I'm #170 and it's supposed to be good for me. I came from years on a factory prime and it took a while to get used to a new board. I find that the factory prime (171?) was more forgiving as you could blow the entry and still get a good carve out of it without washing out the tail. With the Nirvana, you have to trust it will be there for you through the whole turn, and it gives back with a good pop into the next turn. Wasn't prepared for it and spent many days going over the front end or spinning out when the speed picked up. The happy ending is that I love the board now that I have it half figured out. I'm sure the slow love affair was due to my riding style and lack of experience. Just spent a week at Jay Peak and we are now inseparable. Plenty of overnight freeze on corduroy that set up like glass over wet snow. Felt like riding on a pop tart. Really noisy, but man that board cut deep tracks. I'm getting my speed up and trusting myself to ride around crowds. The Nirvana and I are at the point where I get a hoot from the chairlift every other run. If I had to do it all over again I think I would look for slightly more length and a hair more flex to add more forgiveness as I get older. This is my only carving board and I would highly recommend it for a companion for an all mountain soft boot board. My kids are 3 and 5 and just starting to ride the chairlift on burton choppers. Can't wait until they are ready to get into carving. Hopefully, I'll still be laying trenches and it will probably be on this board. If anyone has advice or pointers based on my description, they would be welcome. Wish I could make it to ECES as the only other hard booter I met all week at Jay was well into his 50s and riding pretty gracefully. I need more friends.
14. Received a few questions on the bindings. No carrying case for these and they fit my size 11 boots just fine. I am offering these to the person that buys the board first so I am going to have to wait if you want just the bindings. Thanks.
15. I'm selling my beloved Lib 180 soft boot board. Not used often enough and wants to see more action. Here is the description I found on Otter Sports.

This longboard has a deep progressive-radius sidecut. It is light, turns great and seeks out powder. Hard Carving Freestyle - This line was designed with what Lib Tech calls snowboarding in mind. Quadaxial glassweave torsionbox construction insures that all the boards are tuned to fit the needs of a aggresive rider for his or her weight. Each model gets appropriately stiffer both torsionally and overall as the length increases. Riders on boards from this series have jumped off the biggest cliffs of their lives, takes first decents, won both pipe contests and races. This board line was a winner in the 1999 Transworld Magazine Board Test. They spin like banshees. I would suspect that the cost will be around $40 in the US based on the size. You are welcome to pick this up on Long Island, NY or meet me at Jay Peak over the Presidents holiday week. I also included a photo of some Union bindings I can offer if you are interested. They are the Holden Special Eddition model and have the aluminum heel in the base plate to make them super stiff. I only used these two times with this board and can include the hardware so you will be ready to ride. Asking $75 for the bindings and hardware. Thanks

16. About to list a Libtech Grocer 180 if you are interested. Wish I waited to get your board but just picked up a 174 APO from Salty Peaks.
17. Salomon Malamutes for a stiff soft boot. The BOAs are nice for convinience, but tend to be a bit soft for me and never seem to stay the same from run to run.
18. Two great softies for sale. Someone gave me a nice Libtech Grocer this year so I'm thinning out the longer soft boot boards. If you need a set of soft boot bindings, I have some Solomon soft boot bindings that I can include with either boards for $50. Shipping for either board will be about $40 in the US bases on the length. Feel free to come pick them up if you live anywhere close to Long Island NY. Here are the details. - APO Source 174 Cambered soft boot board. Don't have the specs but the waist looks to be 26cm. I bought this board this year from Salty Peaks in Utah and used it for three runs this weekend out of curiousity. It was soft conditions and this board rode on top and held a line very well. The length is a blessing and this would be a great powder or East Coast board. Lots of camber as this is practially brand new. If you are not familiar with APO, they are mostly known for their powder and split tail boards. They make a nice all arounder also and are a Swiss company. The base has a crazy graphic as seen in the photo. There is a shadow where the spec sticker used to be. Wish I kept it as it had all the measurements. Can't recall what any of them were, other than the length. I would have kept this and was very excited when I picked this up, but now I have a 180 libtech that I am going to ride, just so I can say I have longest board on the hill. Size matters. $200 plus shipping to where ever you live. Takes metric screws. - Libtech Emma Gator 165. I used to ride Emma Peels and switched to this for the length. The board is probably a dozen years old or more and has plenty of camber and edge. I loved this board and am a big LibTech fan. It shows plenty of use as I took this out 10 or so days a year for many years. If you want a classic camber feel with a tight sidecut that can't be found in anything that is out there currently, consider this board. I think the sidecut is in the 900s and the waist is 25.5. Please verify this if you care, but trust that you will like the way this cuts up some east coast crud. Fun in the bumps also if that is your thing. $75 plus shipping. Feel free to ask questions or ping me if you want ask questions or talk about the death of cambered boards for grown up riders. I'm going to try to spend more time on hard boots this year so I don't need a stable of soft boot boards. Plus, my kids are starting to ride on their Burton Choppers so my fun runs are limited. Please find these boards a good home. pmorita at hotmail dot com
19. Would 29s be a US 11? if so, can I get some photos? Thanks
20. My kids are 3 and 5 and started on 80cm choppers when they were 2. There is a recoiling tether called the riglet that attaches to the front of the board that is a must have. It lets you pull the kids along and up the hill, which they both really enjoyed. More so than the riding down the hill at times. Seems that each year they get the next biggest size board. The three year old is now on a 90cm and riding pretty well. So long as the kids are having fun it's worth the expense.
21. Not a swallow tail. Just a good, old fashioned cambered freeride board. When I checked their website I didn't see any current swallows. I'm an east coast guy so we don't see many toys like that here. Thanks
