  1. @Dan and @Lurch At todays exchange rate, Hammerhead 171 should come down to about $397 USD shipping included, +- a few bucks.
  2. Yeah, Louis is tall but kind of skinny... :) There has not been any import duties up to now thanks to NAFTA. Most goods made in the US and Canada can be imported by both countries without them. We ship all boards with the proper paperwork for it. But Mr. Trump is working hard to destroy this, so it might change soon.
  3. In the following video, the rider is a bit lighter than you Dan (140-145), and riding in softboots. It should give you a good idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQoO0W_U3gI
  4. No weight range really. I would qualify the flex as mid-stiff when ridden in softboots. I have all kinds of body shapes and weights on it, from a girl to myself (exxxxxtremely heavy).
  5. Time to buy a Fullbag before it is too late! LOL! A couple of Lifer 166 and Hammerhead 171 left and are 20% off right now with free shipping to the US (and Canada). https://fullbag.com/collections/snowsurfs Prices are in canadian pesos on the website...
  6. I still have my Powdergun, but wouldn't dare to ride it now. I probably would break it in half... LOL!!! It is hanging in my living room wall now. I handle a Powderjet creation a couple of years back in a shop. It was closer to a Performer as it had the convex tail. And I was expecting a super flexy board, but it was actually pretty stiff when hand flexed (which doen't mean much anyway...).
  7. I always add one more notch of forward lean on my rear binding. It fits my position and stance better.
  8. A few Bomber members are riding my boards and have posted about it. If you do a search, you should find some info on here directly too.
  9. If you want a board with similar geometry that will hold your weight better in deep pow, or on the groomers to get there, you should check out the Fullbag Blunt Diamond 162. My buddies and me were big fans of the Fish 160, but the flex pattern did not work well for us (amongst other things). Nose kept folding right in front of the front binding. So after some brainstorming with them and riding some prototypes, the Blunt Diamond 162 was born. Great float and manoeuverability, no rear leg burn, more surface area, long low rise tip. If you need any info, let me know.
  14. Thanks @Ernie00!!! Super stoked you like your Blunt Diamond so much!
  15. If all goes normal Bryan, you shouldn't have to pay any import duty at customs because of the free trade agreement (NAFTA). Boards made in Canada and shipped to the US are duty free. And vice-versa, boards made in the US and shipped to Canada also are. We ship all boards with the proper paperwork for customs. The Hammerhead is now sold out in 181cm, but we still have a couple in 171cm left, as well as a few Lifer 166cm. They both go for the same great deal. Lifer is even a few bucks cheaper.

  19. I am still using Stims in all my front slalom trucks, sometimes stock but mostly modified in various shapes. Greatest bushings ever made.
  20. Great combo and deal for sure! I think Cindrich baseplate automatically = replacement kingpin.
  21. The baseplates were just as unreliable. I have seen many literally explode. I would rather take chance and drill newer bindings to fit, or make my own adapter plate. And I think you have already given the answer in an other thread about which newer hibacks fit on those basplates without any fiddling... ;)
  22. Laisse-toi tenter par le côté obscur de la force... Haaa! Haa! Ha!
  23. I think it is about both, decamber and tighter radii in the nose and tail. Cambered part has a constant radius, decambered parts have tighter and tighter radii the closer you get to the contact points: "Kessler Shape Technology (KST) is the dynamic interaction between the baseline and sidecut. The 2005 patented technology uses all the advantages of the rocker line in combination with a sidecut based on a clothoid geometrical formula. It is the sophisticated interaction that is causing the brilliant revolution! The KST Baseline shows reverse camber. However under pressure, the front and back contact points move towards the middle of the ski or board. The nose and tail rise slightly. The aggressive radii are being negated. This results in turns being easier to initiate, easy edge changing, and a safe, catch-free downhill run with increased stability. However, it’s when the ski or board is edging that the interaction between the sidecut and the rocker line really comes into play. As the ski or board tilts, the contact surface area with the snow is increased, allowing the rider to consciously select the radius of choice. This is where the full force of the clothoid shape comes into effect, giving the rider totally controlled carving ability and a high level of grip, also on icy conditions or at high speed. World-class performance and easy handling." And yes, you can have taper with single radius sidecuts. The Fullbag Blunt Diamond and Lifer both have respectively 30mm and 15mm of taper and a single radius sidecut, as an example.
  24. Similar story. Back in the early 90s, I was on a trip to Whistler riding with a friend who was a local. He rode in hardboots and on an asym alpine board for everything back then (a Kemper, if I remember correctly). A loudmouth jibber (fat stance, board with cut off tips, fat jeans, flannel shirt, beanie) gets in the lift line and starts talking shit and making fun about everything and everyone in line, specially skiers. No one talks back. He sees my buddie's board and starts hassling him about it and finally goes "You can't even ride that piece of shit fakie!". My buddy turns around and says "Why would you want to ride backwards? Are you afraid to face the mountain?". The dude didn't have a comeback and was left with his mouth wide open. Every single person in the lift line started pointing and laughing at him, throwing snowballs. The dude finally had to quit the line and head down on the cattrack.
