I do have 4WD and yes it does as its named on groomed, crud, 2" dust, and more. But for Pow, it didn't performed since the board is too heavy for the powder and riding switch was not ideal since it is a directional board. I couldn't agree more. It does what 4WD does and more since it is light. deep pow tree-run, powder day, switch, park where 4WD lacks on. So if you are looking for all mountain board with carving specific, 4WD would be my choice. If you are looking for really 'All' mountain board, a-frame would be more versatile.

Wow.. I'm going through same process for my soon-to-be 3 years old. But I'm after snowboard. BlueB, Have your kid learn to snowboard also? If he did, would you share what I need to know? I am looking Burton Chopper 90cm with whatever available boots & bindings from Burton. I am not a fan of the brand (actually I don't like them) but after researching some, Burton has invested and detailed out for children. Any input will be appreciated.

I have a pair of Outdoor Research Pro Mod Gloves size XL. This gloves is more like XXL than XL, comparing to other XL gloves. It's little bit too large for me. If you want, let me know. Yeah. I lived in MA for my graduate school ...years ago. After few drinks at clubs or irish pubs at Faneuil Hall, I regularly visited the Chinatown to get some good meal after mid-night. Good chinese/korean/japanese restaurants were there open late or 24 hours. Anyway, I guess folks that comes to the place at that hours were mostly drunken and looked for trouble every seconds. I could witnessed at least fight like that once a month Crazy. But those Chinese style soft shell crab and ShabuShabu in chinatown on 2 a.m would be worth the trip with a dandy baseball bat.

Burton Driver X and Salomon Malamute would be the currently offering models. I have worn Marker (DNR) boots (with DNR click-in binding) that has plastic shells wrapped around boots I don't think it is available these days. You may find used Burton Driver X or Salomon Malamute in 'For Sale' forum at decent price.

Ture. I watched the game at a bar in IAD airport and amazed by the fact that majority of people cheered for Spain. Germany was the strongest team that came through semi-final so far and I thought Germany would lead the game over Spain. But as we all know Spaniards was able to make chances in 'Not-moving' Germany's defense. Best of all, it was a good game. Looking forward to another unexpected upset by Holland on Sunday!

Yes. I have tried many different gloves. But since I have ridden alpine snowboards, any conventional snowboarding gloves didn't last long.
