  1. Mt. High seems more accessible. But is worth it compare to Summit?
  2. Thanks TerryW. I will watch over those corners. If the date gets firmed, I will post it up to ride with other BOLers.
  3. I'll be visiting San Diego on 2nd week of March and will try to visit Summit on one of the weekday early morning. I've heard the Route 330 is closed for this season. What would be the best route to Summit from San Diego (more percisely Rancho Bernardo). oh...snow chain necessary?
  4. Well. Got some inquiries above boards but no one was able to pull the trigger. Since I owned newer decks in my quiver, I would like to sell these. I lowered the prices. If this doesn't work, these decks will be listed in eBay. though I would like these boards to dwell in BOL members' quiver.
  5. Good question. For this season, I've been lucky enough to try several metal, de-cambered, hammerhead boards. I shouldn't expect the Virus to behave like that but well.. When I do hit same trails on some not-ideal condition, I couldn't help me not to compare the Virus with those decks. Then, I took it to trails where BX board should be, and then, I felt it. very stable runs on both tight turns and wider runs. and was solid. I guess I'm in love with metal/new shape boards after all.
  6. From Right to Left.. Prior 184 GS Length: 184 cm / Waist: 18.0 cm / Nose: 22.5 cm / Tail: 22.5 cm This board has been built for Ian Hadgkiss, Canadian WC Racer, 175 lbs, liked to ride on softer flex GS deck (Chris Prior confirmed it). Must been ridden only few times. The condition is very good. For sake of fun, I put a Canadian National Flag with marijuana sticker instead of the maple leaf (Removable). SOLD Coiler 176 EX Length: 176 cm / Waist: 22.4 cm / Nose: 27.3 cm / Tail: 27 cm One of Coiler's Extreme 06. Edges and base are in very good condition. I got this Coiler EX few weeks ago and tested it 2 times since. It is made for extreme carving. It holds edges on very steep runs. If you are into extreme, euro carving, check this out instead of Sword. SOLD Virus 168 BX Prototype Length: 168 cm / Waist: 22.6 cm / Nose: 28 cm / Tail: 28 cm Previously owned by one of member here. Got this great BX board few weeks ago (http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=32093&highlight=Virus). Built in 2002. Approximately 9m sidecut (variable). Few scratches on topsheet and Burton/Ibex plate marks around insert holes. Only noticeable ding is on top right topsheet (Little above 'Virus') It rides solid and damp. It is very stable on hard pack snow either on edges or base. Width is little less than 23 cm and extra width gives stable rides on varying condition. It carves well and holds edges great. I've ridden few BX type boards and I can easily choose this virus over them. Relatively stiff side. I'm at 200 lbs and it treated me good. It's hard to describe in few words but it feels like very solidly built. Great for tight turns but also considerably stable at wide turns. SOLD Hot Logical Asym (Regular) 160 Length: 160 cm / Nose: 20 cm / Nose & Tail: 25 cm One of later production of Logical. It has a lot of camber left. Edges and Bases are in good condition. It has burton universal cant disk marks on inserts area but not noticeable. I've been busy trying racing boards this year but I took this SL out last week for fun and it blew me away. Obviously long and edge grip holds on heel side and short and tight turns on toe side. It produces very snappy and tight turns. Very fun board. $125 + shipping PayPal preferred. PM me for payment instruction. . .
  7. I second that. Especially 'Range View' trail, it's a Wide and Green slope from top to bottom. Left part of the trail has few rollers from upper to middle. Boring but you can see your trench till next day (since BW never get crowded, especially the trail). Now I see they expanded 40+ trails so they may have other options. Great family resort. Not a expert resort at all thou.
  8. hmm... I like 10-11 graphic than 11-12. If you are going to get 11-12 model, let me know. 170 & 163 :)
  9. Awesome! Is Orange one Indy and the other SB 225? Was the modification easy like just unscrew old one and put new one?
  10. I ride with Track 700 (white, MP29, stock liners), which is slightly bigger than me that causing heel lift . So I'm thinking to use my old boots AF series 285 (285 with black Thermoflex liners) again but I would like to change buckles with Track series. Have anyone done this before? if it can be done, any tip/hint will be very appreciated.
  11. No kidding. 15 sec. of butt carving? sliding. Must be talented.
  12. I will be there around 9 a.m. I lost my helmet last visit there and reported few days ago. WT resort confirmed they have it in 'Lost & found' yesterday. Good excuse to go up there again. Is anybody going to be riding? se7en?
  13. Yup. that's the starting point. I'm on mp29 boots so if your measurement came less then 30cm, you can try my boots (Deeluxe 700T with BTS) if you come up to Whitetail. I post next riding day at other thread, "Riding at Whitetail"
  14. Thanks for sharing another great video. matiu
  15. Any prediction on Super Bowl game for Sunday? Small bet (a round of golf) is waged within a small group of friends for picking a winning team and total scores. Since I haven't paid any attention to NFL this year, clueless.. any prediction?
  16. On top of 7" new heavy wet snow from yesterday, snowed 3" more on morning hours. Due to most schools' Snowday, slopes were busy after 11. Rode Farside in the morning until it got bumpy (with snow coming dawn hard, about 11 all steep slopes got bumpy)..then rode SnowPark mostly. Hammerhead shaped metal boards were rewarding for today's condition. Lifts constantly stopped and slowed by kids or beginners. I could see tomorrow and Sunday are going to be very crowded. Rode 3 decks (SG/Virus/VSR).
  17. I had a chance to ride this beauty 2 weeks ago. Really easy to ride with very good grip. Very nice deck. Can't believe it's not taken yet at that price.
  18. As Mark stated, here in N.VA area closed schools today. I hope they issue another snow day tomorrow so that slopes are empty on Friday when I visit. When I went to college (GMI) in Flint, Michigan, the school had a underground tunnel that connects from dormitory to all the classroom buildings. During 6 years of my time there, I didn't have any SNOW DAY, not even with 40" snow.
  19. Se7en and I will be at EZ Rider Quad at 9 then will head to Farside. WT expects 3-5" over next two days. Stoked to test few newly acquired decks.
  20. oh well. there are so many option to go intec / physic's only circular heel receivers with toe bail (Carrier type) or with speed hooks. and variable bumpers to go with it. I'll wait for photos to proceed. ;)
  21. Step-in for rear heels and speed hook for front config? Do you also have the release setup (cables and knobs for rear heels)?
