  1. Best of luck Michelle! Thanks so much for your assistance over the years. You will be mucho missed!
  2. The Canadian uniform is stylish while the American looks like they pulled it out of a dumpster
  3. Pushing the higher end of the club age range and hope to be carving (badly in my case :p) for many more years... Now about that increased recovery time after injury as one matures - that is an fsck'ing pain in the posterior :(
  4. Thanks much for a FABULOUS week!!! Good food, great turns, awesome pics/vids, and excellent peoples! Made for an epic end of my season! Actually got 5 more runs in after y'all left - not sure I'll be able to get out of the car when I get home tomorrow ;) See y'all at ECES next year :)
  5. I ride with that exact armour - plus: helmet, padded shorts, telemark knee pads, and flexmeter wrist guards... Between SPORS and my aging carcass, I need all the protection I can get ;)
  6. I'll give them a couple more days to blow some more ice - currently plan to be at WT for first chair on Monday ;)
  7. And of course the folks who told me about zee law were... Quebec residents ;) Good to know I haven't been breaking the law for the last 9 years :D
  8. Rain here in sillyness central (aka the US capital area)
  9. I needed to get snow tires for our new Hyundai because their "all season" tires are pure (insert your favorite expletive) in the snow, unlike my old Tarus wagon. I'll be spending two weeks in Quebec and didn't want to run into any issues like last year when there was a little dump of about 6 inches and the new car barely made it. By law in Quebec, vehicles are required to have actual snow tires during the winter. I've never had a problem with the SQ (Sûreté du Québec - aka police), but then again I've never gotten stuck or in an accident in the provence. They are VERY good at clearing snow, so you should be ok...
  10. So what are the plans for the last day (Friday, March 1st)? Riding in the morning or what? I'll have about a 10 hour drive home, so I need to decide if I'm going to leave first thing or get a room for the night and head back on Saturday morning... Roof top box, snow tires, and new armour have arrived. Just about ready for the trip to the Charlevoix the week before and then on to Masonville... Now if it would just stop raining and get colder around here, I might get a few more days in before hand ;)
  11. New winter tires and a roof box for the trip north being delivered today... Not that I'm looking forward to this ;)
