Thanks for the input just the kind of opinions i was hoping for . As a second issue our team always gets the race couse after the alpine skiers, as a result the gates we set are usually in the slough of the previous course as well as out of phase with their gate placement. Any suggestion to resolve this issue or a polite tactic we can use to convince management the snowbouard team deserves the same safe course skiers use ??

Two seperate cases of "concussion" over two weekends one race related, one practice related medically confirmed and treated. Is this a high rate for a group of approx.14 racers 10 of which have 3 or more years of racing experience.Conditions are man made boiler plate as we haven't really had a decent snowfall yet for 2010.Any other teams having similar bad luck? What is best practice when it comes to reusing or replacing helmet after one impact. New helmets this year one impact no scratches no cracks or damage to liner foam. Replace or reuse?

Which set up is faster in the carve, a plate set up that restricts manually decambering eg; "by pulling knees together" therby allowing forces on nose and tail to decamber board as load demands , or regular binding set up (no plate)where rider can affect decambering more directly? Had a nasty opening last year. It was suggested by a fellow bomber member to install a teather on the bail and clamp it down with first buckle on boot. Helped with the mental aspects of riding as well (peace of mind).

Hope you don't get flamed for saying it but i agree most resorts are pricing themselves out of business but they will say its other factors.They will never admit it's the condos and lifts to the casinos!

Do you punch or drill the insert holes ? after that do you strain relieve the holes? If its a trade secret i'll under stand just curious.

Cost of a board is peanuts what about the cost of my ski hill, groomer, lift,three suburbans two subarus to truck stuff around. Ski and board equip.for 5 ,membership at another facility, gas for groomer and other vehicles.Instructor fees and oh yes ****ty burgers and fries the real revenue source of most bumps and mts.:lol:

Is everyone saying 3' works because UPZ only goes + or - 2 ???
