  1. Barry - you might want to apply some of the red tape over the cavities of the rear toe block. On my TD3 step-ins that area can develop ice nipples (packed snow) in just the right conditions. YOU POWDER PIG!! ENJOY
  2. My guess is the heelside "hop" is to transfer weight from the front to the back foot. Not at all smooth.

  6. You might want to put something on the threads of your new bolts like teflon/plumber's tape. Your bolts might be stainless but chances are the T-nuts are only plated.
  7. You might want to consider a Stranda Cheater as well "The Cheater is an easy turning surf-carver with an abundance of edghold. We’ve tailored the sidecut for a blisteringly fast response to any rider input. It’s got a blunt nose profile, with a tighter entry radius in the early rise, which we combined with a short half moon tail. Three layers of rubber dampening make for a ride that’s smooth as butter on hardpack. The nose rocker makes turning easy and creates float. Additional carbon stringers in the tail section add longitudinal snap. A precise and highly manoeuvrable board for cruising and carving. The 170 comes in a wide version as well. Colors: 170s = green. 177 = red." Usually readily available. https://www.strandasnowboards.com/product/cheater-snowboard/
  8. My guess is TD's were designed using Raichles/Deeluxe boots. When I changed over to UPZ boots from Deeluxe I had to change the toe/heel blocks postions on my TD3's more inwards so it is a pain to adjust angles as the heel and toe blocks ended up over or blocking the center mounting screw heads and need to be loosened or removed to adjust angles. "TD3 2nd Board Kit The 2nd board kit is everything you need to mount a second board and not have to worry about stance width everytime. Comes with 2 disks of your choice, e-rings of your choice, center disks of your choice, and the M6 screws to mount everything." https://www.bomberonline.com/TD3-2nd-Board-Kit_p_26.html
