Corey
The UPS man made my day today, and Bruce definately outdid himself on this 2010 AMT 176. Can you put up some more pictures Al? I'm considering that same topsheet on the board Bruce is building me next week.

Here are a few, as you can see the sun's not shining today and I have added some details. I also have some black diamond plate sano-pad (hard rubber) so I fashioned a matching stomp pad. Let me know if you go with this topsheet and I'd be happy to send you some of this material.

Strider
NSR 182. Topsheet was a photo of the sunrise I took from my deer hunting stand last year. Not a great pic of the board, but you all get the idea

Hans
Very nice outline of that Coiler NSR. Great quiver!
WinterGold
@ursle - that´s a great variety! Can you talk a little bit about when you use what and the difference in feel (or technique) between the wider Coilers, the Kessler and those uber narrow Viruses? That would be really interesting . Surf Quebec
Algunderfoot , The white dots at the tail , are they decorative or for protection of the topsheet ?
Algunderfoot
Algunderfoot , The white dots at the tail , are they decorative or for protection of the topsheet ? Those are Dakine aluminum (stomp) spikes in hopes of discuraging tail trashing. They offer some protection, at the very least I can point to the obvious message when calling out some knucklehead. I have had success with the concept and now use it on all my high end decks.

Strider
Hey Strider, nice looking custom topsheet, where might I see that riding this season? Should we be talking about a North Coast Coiler Expression Session? Thanks Al. I do the majority of my riding at Tyrol Basin as I coach one of the local high school teams and that's where we practice. I rarely get to Cascade, Devils Head, or Alpine Valley but do go to different hills around the state for races. I used to get to Granite Peak a few times a year since my relatives all live there, but their new policy kind of makes me think about boycotting them. Hit me up with a post on the ride board and we'll try to do some riding some time. We do have a pretty big group of hardbooters at Tyrol on a regualr basis, and we have the best bar of all the ski hills around here :D

I love this idea. I actually use these for stomp pads on all my boards, but have never used any for tip protection. Now at least when I'm giving the kid in the lift line a dirty look I'll know my board's protected somewhat. ( I can't stand those idiots who bump you the whole time you're in line)

www.oldsnowboards.com
Great looking board with Vist inserts :D Good point Pokkis. Seems like a great option on any board. Same with Snow Stix or a Tinkler Plate system. Why not ask the builders to simply add these during construction? With the magnetic inserts you just drill them out later? Win-Win. Builder makes a few more dollars for a custom feature and 10$ worth of inserts, buyer gets to try Snow Stix, Tinkler plate, Hangl , Vist, or what ever he wants to bolt to his board. Yes, it does require a little bit of technical information for placement, but we are seldom short of that. ;) How about adding small 8-32 or 10-32 inserts for a "Tail Guard" feature? WinterGold
I went full metal for this season :D. Haven´t ridden any of these yet :( ... There is an Apex TheFast 163 SL, a Kessler KST 162 SL and a Kessler KST 185 GS (with Vist plate). And NO, I am not a racer ;).
