kamran
Came in today. Now I need to find fitting bindings
Pokolikrat
Hi Kamran. This one is a beauty. How long is it and how is the stiffness in the comparison to your Tantalus? Only what I am missing on these new boards is the logo. That old mean nasty laughing virus. About the binding, you will have to with Catek or Piokka. New Bombers are too wide. I am still using old TD1 and they works OK for me. Will you ride at KWood this winter? I am waiting for LaGlisse I ordered some time ago and now when I finally moved and I am almost done with house I am looking into some new toy. One of these Evos or 167Asymetric. Hopefully I will have a chance to try them at Aspen.
BlueB
I think there are more choices for bindings... Race Plates, Snowpro (Thias) Skwal version, Fritschi, Blax, F2, Emery, Rossi...
Newmax
Ladia: it seems to be a Cyborg, so that's 181. And I agree, those old grining logo is missing somehow
kamran
Hey Ladia, Good to hear from you! It's indeed a cyborg so 181cm and 14cm waist. Camber is a bit less than 4 cm. I'd say it feels a bit stiffer than my team tantalus but I may be off, perhaps Frank will read this and can chime in. The mean virus logo is still there, it's just very subtle and carved in that little silver seal close to where the *Evolution II* text stands. I think you are right and I need to go with OS2 or something since my OS1 and TD2 don't fit. I plan to be at Krikwood a lot if El Nino shows up on time. Secretly, I'm also curious about Frank's Asymertic stuff and need to find out more. Looking forward to riding with you again at some point. *Ace*
The Bomber TD3 Skwal would work for you, you may only need the base plates. They are really solid, no dampening like the TD3. If you ask me, I wouldn't ride anything but Bomber, I don't trust the plastic bindings too much... They work like the TD1, no adjustablility other than changing the cant disk angle. No silly bumpers. I was told by Frank that the Evo II construction is safe to use with them. It is just bare aluminum to board contact though, I suggest using some sort of padding in between. Hans
Some TD3 baseplate modding to fit my this years bought Cyborg Super EVO Bling Bling, works fine for me. I still have to cut away some of the baseplate of the frontbinding, sticks out 2mm or some. No probs after 5 days of riding with my 190 lbs. At your own risk of course. But can't see the harm since a TD3 Skwal baseplate is just as small/big or even smaller at the base.

WinterGold
@Masahiko - you beat me by a few weeks. I wanted to post pictures of my new Apex TheFast 163 SL. Now I don´t have to because it looks pretty much the same as your pictures, just shorter :D ... The board has an excellent built quality and the plate system looks promising. Can´t wait for the first snow ...

match2002
Congrats with your new SG Board! Didn't know the new series are available already. That topsheet looks very nice. Where did you get this one? SG official website is not updated with new stuff yet, but SG Japan (www.sgjapan.jp) and other Japanese websites are selling them already. I'm sure you can (pre)order new decks from SG official site as well...

Algunderfoot
Bruce emailed saying look for package in day or two. That is very nice(Borat voice).Pics to follow Yup, Bruce ran the top sheets past me today so my new AMT will finally get dressed and be on her way home. I'm thinking that now my harem, I mean quiver, will be complete. Well OK, except for the "talk dirty" rock board I'm looking for. Oh and I suppose I would have to jump on a saltry Virus if one presented herself with an offer I couldn't refuse... There all temptress's
powdahbonz
My youngest even put on his snowboard pj's and hugged the Schtubby. My oldest not pictured asked when he could have his own Coiler. His chores list just grew several pages. Bruce creates a really, really nice piece and thanks to Fleck for helping out with my topsheet. Snow...damnit snow!!!!
korc
My new board just arrived yesterday. Funny I was looking for a BX type board with metal contruction and Prior just happen to have one in the exact specs I was looking for. The board is a lot thinner than other Priors I've owned but also a lot lighter. I guess thats from the metal and carbon construction? It's a bit softer than by well ridden Ride Timless but I think that's due to the metal contruction. Can't wait for it to snow to try this sucker out. 163cm x 25.3 cm x 10/11 m SCR Looks a lot like a Schubby tho. Only not as Schubby :) Simon
Willow 15
Thats a great looking board, and I have a question My youngest even put on his snowboard pj's which year and size pj 4.9,5,6 or 7. I knew asymetrics were coming back. First Virus are on the case and now the kids are. Joking aside, I bet you are going to rule on that masterpiece, and do you intend to bring the kids up as hardbooters? I am trying to do it the subtle way, my kids are 8 and 10 I started them skiing, now they are snowboarding in softs but are forever asking "when can we have boards like you", especially the eldest. It makes me laugh as all I can think is "mmmmm the force is strong in this one". Enjoy
