  1. Thank you for the insight. Will have to look into the Cypress Ski school. Seems best for both of us. Well more me. hehe.
  2. Wish i had time to ride that much to take advantage of both. Maybe when i retire. Oh wait. I live in Vancouver. I'm working to the grave.
  3. Hello, Wasn't sure if I should start a new thread or not for this. Need help w/ a dilemma. Looking to buy a season pass next year for myself and daughter. She skis. She took her beginner lessons at Cypress this year and absolutely fell in love with it and I want to sign her up for next year as well but her best friend's parents just bought their pass at Grouse. Do I be the good parent and buy a pass at Grouse so she can ski w/ her friend or do I be a "little" selfish and buy Cypress? Are there any good runs for me to get some nice turns in at Grouse? BTW, conditions were pretty amazing this past weekend at Cypress. Soft groomers and moguls that my BXFR cut thru pretty easily. Visibility not so much. Thanks in advance
  4. Hi Boris, It was nice meeting you yesterday. Been off the board for quite a while so got to get used to riding again. Legs were spend by mid day. Haha. Maybe I'll try breaking out the hard boots again. Wonder how rusty the edges are.
  5. Hi, Would you be interested in a trade? I have a pair of Catek O's. I've been wanting to try a more flexi pair of bindings. I'm Canada as well. Simon
  6. It's black and it's fast. 161 BXFR 26.3 wide sidecut 7.5/9.5/8.5m Thats all I know about it. This is the board from the radio auction. Bruce is a master surgeon.
  7. First new board in almost a decade! Thx Bruce!
  8. The $460 is the raffle tax and S&H? Haha.
  9. Oops. Looks like I won. Just recieved the email. Now to explain to the wife I accidentally won/bought a new snowboard. Wish me luck
  10. Hey guys n' gals. Looks like I have to miss out on all the fun this year. Man this session crept up fast. Hope everybody has a blast. Sorry no Asian representation this year. Oh wait. Alex will be there. I wonder if I didn't say anything, how many of you guys would have thought Alex is me? Hehehe. Simon

    WTB - BX board

My buddy's a smaller guy. 5' 7" 155~160 lbs. He's used to riding a freestyle/freeride board about 153cm. So a 160 ish BX board will be quite a big step up for him effective edge wise. John Deer. So you have any specs on the board? Simon
  14. Hello everbody. I have a buddy who wants to get back into boarding and wants to try a BX board after hearing me rave about mine. Looking for something under 160cm and about 24cm waist. Its going to be used with soft boots. Any still available out there? I remember when I was looking for mine a couple years back, there were some prototype Doneks a race team was using and selling. Thank you in advance Simon
  15. I'm actually riding one of the new Prior BX boards. Talking to Dean at Prior prior to purchase, he said these were built like the 2010 WCRM boards. But it has dual side cuts and decambered nose and tail so I guess this makes it very similar to the FLC. Simon
