  1. Mother Nature has been fairly cruel for the early season but what is on the mountain is in fantastic condition. Top-to-bottom rippers for those who have the lungs and the legs. Think Snow! ️
  2. Top to bottom chalk. Light crowds and beaming sunshine! Think snow. ️
  3. Hottest thread Bomberonline has had going in years. Such a shame. Looks like some of the same wind bags that have been here for years are still here making themselves be heard. Friendships are ruined, the community is damaged and I certainly hope that Bomber survives. I happen to be stuck somewhere in the middle being friends with parties on all sides. It's a shity place to be. Think Snow!?
  4. Lee, I believe that it was myself and Shredder Jen that you rode with. Come back to the dark side, the equipment continues to evolve and the community continues to grow.
  5. No profile changes, just a different core material. Sean can probably shed more light on it than I, but as far as I am aware he just swapped the standard core material for the Bamboo.
  6. Bamboo cored Donek, I will never go back to the standard. Sean is building me a replacement to this board, biggest difference with be a 14/30m scr instead of a 14/24m and a different top sheet which will be carbon fiber. I gave the General everything I had, no failures, great energy, quite honestly best board I have ever owned. I know that Sean has a stack of Bamboo (possibly even pre made cores) in the shop. Hit him up!
  7. The first one I had beat me down hard a few times, took me forever to firgure our how to work a 25cm waisted board. Not much taper to it so I struggled with it endlessly. You have some lbs on me so you might have better luck than I. It will perform but, don't get lazy on it.
  8. Top sheet pics. Foil tape is location of tail dinger and top sheet crack.
  9. Very low time board, never ground, base in perfect condition, edges in perfect condition, dinger on the tail and 6 crack in top sheet, cosmetic only. 150 + ship gets it.
  10. Yo wavechaser, I have two, one hammered and one with low low miles. Drop me a note let me know if your interested. Think Snow!
  11. Curious to see the hardware and internals. Hoping things have been cleaned up a bit, a lower part count would be nice.
  12. Apex, hard at it with a new $$$$$ friendly Sport Plate. http://www.apexsnowboard.com/sport_plate.html
  13. Same old, same old for Deeluxe this season. http://www.deeluxe-hardboots.com/
  14. Who is building them and what is the top sheet material? Construction specs materials/geometry? Anyone, Bueller?
  15. Yeah, Splittys are the path to the fun zone! Good luck on your quest, also watch splitboard.com, they have a for sale section. What is you budget, have you considered new? Got your becon yet? Think Snow!
  16. Yeah Christmas, lets do it. I think a rendezvous at the Beav is in order. Defile the mountain and all of its grooming goodness, then Pabst and cheese on the picnic deck on top of Centennial is in order. Hopefully snow conditions shape up early, a repeat of last year would be excellent. Keep me posted on your schedule and lets try and make this a reality. Study hard! Think Snow!
  17. When are you going to be back in Colorado? Are you wearing a helmet these days? And last but not least, how is the world of academia treating you? Lets ride sooner then later, once every 3 or so years doesn't cut it. Think Snow!
  18. Congrats on fatherhood, its a hoot! Loveland and ABasin are in full swing by then, and this last season so was everybody else. Most Summit County resorts were 80% + open with excellent coverage by early December. Summit would give you the best bang for the buck imho, try to come as early in December as you can to avoid the holiday squeeze. Think Snow!
  19. Nice ride Bryan. Simpler is better! Tinklers are always well built but sometimes the gadegetry makes my scratch my head, I have a friend here in Colorado with a couple and hope to install a deer whistle on the noses just to complete the ensemble. Some pics of the plate hardware when you get a chance please. What is the SCR Bryan, progressive from what to what? Season is only 70 or so days out here, time to start thinking about it! Think Snow!
  20. New ride for the 2011/2012 season. Catch me if you can!
  21. Snowman

    Yo Lci!!

    Consistency is a virtue!
  22. I will never forget the day I had some years back on Bordys Silly Good. What an amazing ride but it was limited in wanting to do only city block sized turns and no other, put in a very broad but super usable variable side cut and wamo, options are abundant in the turn dept. The General was unbelievably good, best I have ever had the pleasure to ride, I am hoping this next board is even better.
  23. 14-30m SCR Bamboo Donek with a nice matte carbon topsheet and a bangin chrome mud flap girl on the tail is in the incubation process. Hope this one makes it past the censors unlike the now retired General Lee. Also looking forward to a hard boot specific split of the new powder shape Sean and I worked on this past season. The push for this deck other than fantastic on snow performance in the widest possible allowable conditions is to be as light as possible without a huge sacrifice in durability. Lots of carbon and other lightening techniques to be incorporated in this one. A "race weight" unit also in the works.
  24. Looking for some new to me boots. My 700s are mortally wounded and need replacing. 700s or Indys, straps or buckles doesn't matter. Looking for something low mileage, BTS and FinTecs are ok. Let me know what you got or I will be forced to return to toe bails and Technicas!
  25. I might attend. Grand County 4th of July craziness might force me to seek some smiles in the fun zone. Backcountry access is getting more and more limited here and a July 3rd of riding a chair at the Basin sounds intriguing. Just think, in about another 3 month, the Basin will be opening for the 2011/2012 riding season!
