I think i might get this thing. Ive had too many close calls at wachusett from one of the straight liners. I got a screwed up back overall, so this will defintly not hurt having.

Tonight wasn't too bad. If it wasn't so warm all day, the snow wouldve been much better. $6 for a lift ticket and now I'm off to go boil some perogies:D get well steve. Hopefully see ya next week.

I'll back Skipuppy up on the the type of people at brandies. I have some friends there and they're very humble. Although i don't know first hand, they say so many people there all obsessed with themselves and think they're the sh!t. Personally, I don't care, just stating something I was told on many different occassion. The parties ive been there weren't bad at all and I had alot of fun. Every seemed very cool and down to earth, but I haven't been there enough to actually make an opinion. Kudos with the find of premed. you hit the lottery :D

This wednesday seems to be looking pretty good. So far, I have 4-5 ppl lined up from my school that are coming, could be more. I'm going by car and I have one more spot open. willywhit, i can pick you up anytime you want. Anyone else thats going, we should try to figure out either a meeting spot or a walkie talkie frequency. Tom has told me that wachusett doesn't monitor 9-11 so it makes no difference what we use. I usually use 6-18 at sunday river with friends. Whos going to be out there wednesday?

thats the first time Ive seen people actually negative about alpine snowboards. For the most part, I really, really hate the park rats. When on a chair lift with some of them, all I hear is them yelling down at people, "Ooooo, wow, you can hit a rail..." (sarcastically) or "You f***in suck" and just anything along those lines. Never heard a positive thing come out of their mouths.

for vodka on a true budget, try rubinoff. $12 for a handle and thats enough to take out a bunch of us. Svedka is the ultimate luxury. $15 doesn't go a long way with it. I do love it though. Supposedly grey goose is the #1 and svedka was #2 or something along those lines. That was based on some international taste testing. As far as mixed drinks, i love screw drivers (first mixed drink I had) and pretty much anything with vodka.

does buying a few lift tickets count as a package deal for lessons?

I already have a toe piece, its just getting the screw out thats the prob. Nothing really worth paying shipping for. Also, all this snow being dumped will give me a chance to ride some nice groomed runs by tuesday or wednesday. Do they still service their alpine stuff even though its all discoutinued?

philfell, ya i need the toe piece because i'm giving it to steve for the reason you pointed it out. It doesn't seem like a hue problem at the moment because the bottom thin layer of plastic thats on the very, very bottom so I'm going to have to wait till I get home next weekend. Huge storm coming this way now so i'm staying put. thanks alot!

i'm not getting the russian. my russian blows:smashfrea the toe pad is plastic. Dano, thanks, it made sense and i'll give it a try. Ya they all kick ass I just hope i'll be able to find exactly the same screws in a hardware store. If not, i'll call up burton and see what they have left.

the other day, Bob dea noticed that a piece of plastic was coming off my toe piece. Steve fleck took a toe piece off some of his older boots to put on mine. I got burton winds and taking off the toe piece is hard. The screws are in solid. I took one out and couldn't get the others. One of my friends tried it and the screw ended up stripped. Is there a way I can get this screw out? It has some thread left in it but I don't want to strip it any more. Thanks in advance.

no one can beat my cutco thread creeping!!! anywho, i got the same prob with my boots. Its hard getting my feet out after a long night of riding because they get all sweaty. I just take out the liner and leave it in the room. It just dries out and there is absolutly zero smell. I'm really suprized. my running shoes on the other hand smell like Yak piss.
